Lovely little town right between Brussels and Ghent - so...
Lovely little town right between Brussels and Ghent - so perfect location to explore both cities if you have a car. The village itself is peaceful, clean and green with lots of helpful people who speak English and French. If you want to travel around Belgium, I highly recommend Dendermonde, because it's in the middle and train connections to big cities are excellent (and almost all are direct). Nice little town with a cozy city center, good food places, some nice shops and a rather relaxed athmosphere. And also a nice parc in walkinf distance. Best: clean, modern, room smells good. Bed comfortable. Easy parking. Worst: 10 mile detour to get there. No hair dryer, no coffee making facilities in the room. Old thin, frayed towels.
