The view from the resort is gorgeous. The services offered are luxurious. In the resort there is also a mini zoo with donkeys, lamas, alpacas, goats and houses. In the Chukara restaurant the food is absolutely delicious and at very low prices. The SPA has various amenities.

Beautiful location in the mountains ⛰️ the spar is open from 14:00 - 20:00 which is very great. The spar steam room and sauna are small but very good. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room we had didn't have a view, but it was clean and comfortable. The pool is inviting with plenty of sunbeds available.

Gabrovo is quiet in general, but not too quiet.

Gabrovo is quiet in general, but not too quiet. I came form a big city and loved it. The air is very fresh and pleasant. Visit the museums, walk along the river, go to the restaurants for a great value for money experience!

Tryavna historical center is a must see.

Tryavna historical center is a must see. Beautiful old architecture, lots of souvenirs shops with local products to sell, restaurants, really enjoyable place to visit for a few hours as it is not that big.

Dryanovo is a quiet and scenic mountain town, perfect for a relaxing escape. Surrounded by forests, rivers, and cliffs, it offers great hiking, the impressive Bacho Kiro Cave, and the historic Dryanovo Monastery. A lovely mix of nature and culture.

A living museum with wonderful hosts.

A living museum with wonderful hosts. This is not the ordinary accommodation where you would look for hotel-like standards. This is a place for experience and atmosphere. Sometimes I felt like being part of an old movie, sometimes it reminded me of childhood smells, views and tastes. Adventure lovers would enjoy such a place

Walkable, super clean, quite a few interesting museums and parks to visit. Close to the mountain, if you're into hiking etc. Overall - a great place to visit for a few days! I only wish there were more places to eat/drink coffee etc. The ones we were nearby were closed.

A small town steeped in traditions, vibrant. I had a great night at a local restaurant. A duo was playing. Initially, it was all folky and traditional folk dancing. I asked the Guitarist if he played rock. Yes, he said. From there on, wow. I was invited to join a large family gathering. Dancing, talking, laughing. Great. For a lone traveller. It was a revelation.

Dryanovo doesn't have a lot to offer.

Dryanovo doesn't have a lot to offer. It's more the surrounding villages and attractions and of course Veliko Tarnovo is nearby. If you don't like a 'busy' town like Veliko Tarnovo, Dryanovo is a good place to stay (just 26 km/17mi away)

Gabrovo is a small town in the middle of nowhere in Bulgaria, that offers a lot of treats. Etar(a) and the museum of Humor and Satire may be the biggest ones for me. But the authenticity of this town as a basic real bulgarian city that still is untouched by tourism overkill is very important to me. Not for partygoets, but culture and sightseeing for a week if that is your thing. Mazalat / Osana is a beautiful mountain hike within a taxy rides reach. Etar(a), a cultural museum is awesome for anyone interested in handicrafts an culture. If you go to gabrovo, your favorite football team is Yantra!

Wonderful , charming and full of good vibe and old fashion houses that make the town attractive. Quiet and yet buzzing , lovely delicious restaurants , nice small garden in the city centre. Just perfect 👍. It’s easy to reach from everywhere , free town parking. Balabanova house it’s a cozy and clean restaurant, however they close early so be prepared to be done with dinner just after 10pm. Lovely and fresh bakery right at the centre .
