The breakfast was correct, offering hot meals, a small variety of breads, a good coffee machine, a small variety of fruits. I missed the offer of black sugar like demerara. The linen was good.

Hi all, We want to give a special positive mention for JAIR, your employee who is dedicated to the private beach of the hotel. He is a really nice person and his quality service reinforced the positive rate that we consider for Monte Pascoal Hotel. He was able to speak more languages and his kindness was very impressive. People make the difference. Thanks a lot for the good stay we had in your hotel. All the best, Emanuele and Anna Claudia

Amazing architecture, well described and educational museums, very nice polite people, pretty decent food and drink. You need about 4 days overall, to get to know the city, and possibly go back to the places you liked best (if that's your thing when you travel - it is for me). However, the religious thing does get a bit tiring, as does the noise level. Best part of town by a long stretch was Santo Antonio depois do Carmo, which is beyond the Pelourinho. The Casa das histórias de Salvador was very good, albeit a bit short on live story telling.

Location and the beach are amazing. The hotel is old and the main areas are fine but the rooms need renovation. Gardens and main pool area are great even though the pool needs to be cleaned more often. Value for money could be better considering rooms need to be renovated.

Itacaré has a relaxed and bohemian vibe with charming streets lined by vibrant colour houses. Is relatively untouched by massive tourism and evolved by ecological reserves, rainforests, and beautiful landscapes. Is the perfect spot for those who love sports like surfing, climbing, kayaking, paddle boarding and trekking.

Trancoso is an absolute must if you are looking to explore Brazil and Bahia. It has stunning beaches and views, but also has a very lively atmosphere with plenty of amazing restaurants and shops, easily walkable around Quadrado. The food is amazing, with plenty of amazing local cuisine options. Would highly recommend visiting Praia dos Nativos, Praia do Espelho e Praia da Tartaruga.

Ilhéus has a rich historical background, but the town feels neglected, with many historical buildings falling into disrepair. It’s not particularly touristic—more functional than charming. That said, there are some good bars and restaurants, and the centrally located airport is convenient. The beaches, while decent, don’t compare to the stunning ones in the surrounding region. It’s worth a short stop for its historical significance, but the lack of restoration is disappointing.
