The room had a lovely view of lake Brienz and had all we needed. It was roomy, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower spacious. Staff were very friendly and the service excellent. They even accommodated our request to leave our suitcases with them for a few hours after check out so we could finish our sightseeing without taking them on the train with us. Great place to stay!

Great location for people who want beautiful views and quietness. Away from touristic chaos and to be honest my favorite views of the Interlaken area. Feels like being a local in a little village.
The hosts were very nice, beds were comfortable, room was clean and the food at their restaurant was delicious.
And breakfast was arranged every day in a very cute way, there was always a table waiting for us.
Everything was wonderful we will be coming back!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful both inside and out. Situated right next to the boat stop, only a few meters from the little boat Dock featured in k-drama Crash landing on you, our room had its own little terrace and view over the lake and the mountains. Very comfortable beds, large room. Excellent food in the restaurant, the "Crash landing on you" plate was the best fish and chips my daughter had ever eaten

We booked an overnight stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and our rooms were spacious and very comfortable. We had a lovely fully-equipped mini -apartment with a balcony and our teens had a really nice double room with lake view. We liked the Swiss chalet feel. Brienz is such a nice place to visit and Hotel Lindenhof is just a short walk from the centre and has wonderful views of the lake and mountains, making it a perfect place to relax after exploring this beautiful area of Switzerland.

Excellent location, beautiful view. Easy to pick up keys in a box. Well equipped kitchen, salt, pepper, oil and more. Welcome pasta to cook and coffee. Underfloor heating. Cowbells every morning instead of an alarm clock.

It is too far from Interlaken not having a view of the lake...
It is too far from Interlaken not having a view of the lake as pictures shown, it is located on the top of the mountain, it takes about 20 mn drive on an extremely narrow road to reach there.
Not a single supermarket or restaurant nearby, it is recommended for people seeking tranquility and peace, not for those who plan to visit other places every day.
a washing machine would be an advantage.
I liked that it has Fondue maker and all what's needed to prepare some homemade meals.

Very nice location, great view of the lake and excellent walks.
Be careful of the local drivers. In the 3 days we stayed at Axalp we were bullied by 4 very aggressive drivers on the mountain roads.
