It is next to the train station and the bus station (but you do need to make sure you use the right exit of the train station. The google map didn't guide me to the right exit and I was trying to look for the hotel pulling my luggage around for 15 min only to find that it is just next to the train station if another exit is used). The location is fantastic with bus station next to it too. Nevertheless, it was still very quiet. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. We stayed in Basel for a week, using it as a transit point...
We stayed in Basel for a week, using it as a transit point for traveling to other cities in the area: Colmar, Luzerne, and Freiburg. Basel itself has easily enough to see for three full days: interesting museums, beautiful architecture, cathedrals, dining, etc. If you stay for more than a day you get a Basil Pass which allows you to use public transit for free. The public transit works like a clock, although it might be a bit difficult at first to figure out what goes where.Guest review byAlexanderCanada
