Getting around Basel was very easy.
Getting around Basel was very easy. The hotel gave us a free transport card. The tram stopped just outside the hotel. The restaurant at this hotel was great and you will need to go up to the Bar Rouge at the top of the building. (31st floor ) Other restaurants within walking distance. So many lovely places to visit. Basel is a wonderful city to explore, and I highly recommend discovering it on foot – the architecture is beautiful and everything is within easy reach. Public transport is excellent: the buses are always on time and very clean. Just make sure to carry some cash with you, as card payments (POS) are not available on buses. A walk along the Rhine riverfront is a must, offering a relaxing and scenic experience. For a taste of local life, don’t miss a coffee at Finkmüller or the amazing pastries at Bäckerei KULT.Guest review byBeatriceRomania
