Everything, place is flawless, the decor, the wellness and spa areas, the lake house & swimming/sun deck. The food in the restaurant & breakfast selection top class. Parking very easy, check-in also very easy. Advice: unless you have early checkin, it will be 3pm, so go straight to wellness as you really only have a 3-4 hr window before dinner, especially if you only staying for 1 night. It is not open till 11pm next morning on checkout.

The hotel room was absolutely amazing , it had everything we needed a big comfortable bed a very usable kitchen a great big bathroom a lounge room as well as a dining table it was fantastic. The breakfast in the morning was on the top floor so you had an amazing view but the room itself was just awesome so cozy in the winter and the food was fantastic as was the lady who looked after us at the breakfast she was amazing

I liked everything about the place. The hotel was cute, with the garden outside to drink or eat during warm weather. It was walking distance to the lake, a bit far from the city center, however, guests receive free bus tickets. There is a parking there. Our room and a bathroom had everything a traveler needs. Firstly, they were spotless clean. Breakfast was delicious, lots of options of fresh and yummy food. Staff was the best, sweet and helpful, working hard but going extra mile to assist, and with the smile.

Very nice, large and clean room with two comfortable beds. Small coffee maker and espresso cups available in the room. Very roomy and clean bathroom with shower. Breakfast is absolutely fresh and tasty. I was travelling to visit FAKUMA Messe, which is only 11 minuts away car or bus ride. Hotel is well located near to central bus and train station and only 10 minuts walk from the yacht marina. I highly recommand this hotel either for business or for private stay in this beautiful area.

We booked here on the way to our holiday. Didn't expect too much, just to sleep over. But, it was absolutely amazing accomodation, lovely personel. The offer on breakfast was great, full with fresh and home made stuff. Would definitely return here. Room was big, bed comfortable. you have it 10 min by car to the Lindau island.

The staff was very friendly (especially the lady at the check-in). We had a beautiful spacious room with a balcony that provided panoramic views of the lake. The first minibar is included, which is very nice. The bathroom was fantastic as well, very large with a beautiful sink, and a huge plus was the amazing view of the lake from the bathtub. The hotel was very clean, and the pool was also great (an added bonus: they provided swim towels in the room, very convenient). There was nothing to complain about the breakfast; you could enjoy it while overlooking the lake, and there was plenty of variety in terms of food. We had also requested a baby crib, and they had prepared it for us along with baby products. A little lower than the hotel, you can take the bus to Überlingen. There's a good connection with two buses per hour.

Great wellness hotel with outstanding service. We were here to celebrate my Birthday and receive a great treat from the Check-in moment and all the staffs seems to acknowledge about this so everyone said HBD. This is very impressive to me. This family owned Hotel is very well decorated and managed. The room is very spacious with comfortable bed and great balcony with beautiful view from the Bodensee. Spa area is very nice, well decorated , and the treatment was also very good. The dinner is very delicious with various dishes to choose from plus the great wine recommendations from one of the Lady Boss (I forget her name). I would definitely come back to stay here and would recommend this!!

It is beautiful hotel in an old villa, very tastefully decorated and with very comfortable beds and pillows. Unfortunately no breakfast is served during winter time, but each room has a coffee machine and water cattle. The location is perfect, it is on the lake shore, but the place is very peaceful and one sleeps excellently at night.

I had a great stay at Ibis Styles Konstanz. The location is perfect, with a supermarket and a bus stop close by. The hotel is very nice, and the room was clean and comfortable. I’m looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Lindau was a nice 2 day visit - unfortunately, virtually none of the museums and sites accept the Bodensee Plus Card - a rather expensive 3 or 7 day pass that was sold by the Lindau Tourist Information Center - that was a surprise. Very easy to drive to Brengenz Austria for their offerings.

Since the city was completely bombed during WW2, it’s not filled with historical landmarks and old buildings. There are definitely nicer cities around Bodensee. If you’re choosing Bodensee as your final destination, FN shouldn’t be the town to go.

Meersburg is one of our favorite towns. It has everything: Medival castle, a fantastic boardwalk on the lake, apple orchards, winyards with a winery, excellent restaurants & bars, boating marina, ferry to other parts of the lake, the list goes on. A very charming and picturesque town.

We visited friends here and enjoyed the views over the lake and wandering around the waterfront. The city is known for the obvious focus of boating, bathing, and relaxing, but we also found a nice, downtown with historical charm. Try the Muenster St, Nikolaus for relics and an up-close trip back in time, and then explore the old town around it.

Lovely town, & near to lots of other nice towns which can easily be reached free by bus or train using the Bodensee card obtained from the hotel. Bike rental is easy to do, swimming in the lake is possible, boat trips on the lake are very nice too

We spent two nights here.

We spent two nights here. The shops seemed to be more expensive than in Germany. Travel on trains also more expensive. We got Bodensee cards for travel in Germany. However it is a pretty area and felt very safe walking around at night.

The location was excellent, the view of the lake from the dining room and pool were fantastic, even on a rainy cloudy day. As children were only allowed to use the indoor pool at certain times , you can relax around the pool and read. The selection of food at the breakfast buffet was incredible, something for everyone. An additional bonus was that it was open till 11,30 am. They also had quite a large selection of vegetarian dishes in the evening. Very comfortable box spring beds and a large walk-in shower.

A little off the beaten track, but plenty to do.

A little off the beaten track, but plenty to do. Boating, swimming, rent bikes and visit the towns nearby. Hop on the bus (very simple to use and covered by the hotel tourist card) to visit nearby towns, get to the train station, or the ferry station. We were able to visit Lindau-Insel on a day trip by bus/train, spend 5-6 hours there, and still made it back in time for dinner and watching the sunset over the lake. Konstanz, and Insel Mainau are easily reachable by bus/ferry.

Konstanz is a brilliant place to stay for a few nights on an interrailing trip. You can visit Lichtenstein within 1.5 hours on train, and same with Rheinfalls, Schaffhausen. Great for daytrips, and then returning in the evening, Konstanz comes alive with beautiful lights and the pier. It's very easy to get around at the main train station, and the old town is beautiful, and it's fun to be able to walk across the border to Switzerland. Would recommend for travellers/interrailing.
