Ok for skiing and mountain biking but not recommended for hiking (numerous paths closed, very steep, signage could be better, crossing paths with downhill mountain bikers too often). There are better options for hiking in Switzerland

Crans-Montana is summer-winter resort. We went for skiing. The views are amazing, the resort has skiing options for all the family but is not very big. Restaurants very cozy but expensive (well, it's Switzerland...). The town is very walkable, you can walk from crans to Montana or hike around the town.
