The food and drinks provided in the room were beyond exceptional! We did not even utilize the free breakfast, because there was so much food in the room when we arrived! The view was to die for, and Christine and Petra went above and beyond for us. I 100% recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Interlaken area!

I like Everything about this property, the property is just full of surprises and history and Danny the man the Swiss version of Ryan Reynolds just made everything so interesting and was full of surprises, and his wife the boss makes sure Danny is doing his job correctly (just kidding , she is just a gentle soul that makes some kick ass paninis !. We had a full on bbq with a crazy good view it was just like heaven with good company , and they became dear friends that we will miss 100% they do have the slogan in German (I didn’t understand it until we were leaving. And he translated it , it says you come as guests and you leave as friends) these guys just made Interlakken better, oh yea I didn’t forget Heidi , their new 6 months puppy , she was such a good girl and funny Swiss mountain dog. Focus on the details in the property , there is a story behind each one , spend a day with them and ask for a bbq the next day , wood fire bbq and marsh mellows my wife my mum and our friends we had a blast with that view. The lake view room my mum was in , was breath taking ; the Mountain View one has a side view of the lake , all rooms with balcony . Oh yea the breakfast was something else , super good , if you like abit of spicy , ask for Dannie’s special scrambled eggs, these hosts were very generous and super nice and I can’t thank them enough. A luxurious hotel located near the center of the town of Spiez and overlooking Lake Thun and Spiez Castle. For car owners, the hotel has a large underground parking lot at a very reasonable cost of 12 francs for 24 hours, but you have to reserve the parking lot in advance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helped us a lot in planning our trip around the Thun and Brienz lakes. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The toilet and shower are separated, so two people can use them at the same time, which saves a lot of time. The breakfast is excellent and rich. The hotel has a heated pool and spa.

Dinner on the lake, afternoon tea at Schloss Schadau, downtown area by the river. plenty of scenic side trips like the funicular up the Neisen and the Thunerseespiele (musical presented in an outdoor theater overlooking the lake) and plenty of other things to se and do

    Wilderswil was a pleasant surprise. a quiet residential...

    Wilderswil was a pleasant surprise. a quiet residential community a few kilometers from Interlaken, the area is quiet and friendly. A short bus ride to the main train station and into the city of Interlaken provides access to the rest of the area. I look forward to returning in the winter to enjoy the surrounding snowfall (hopefully!).

    Hotel is fair. Nice view and off the tourist are Big dissapointmnet was i left an airpillow in the room and asked them to mail it back to me. They agreed for a fee which i duly wired and paid but never receive the pillow Big dissapointment Esp when i showed them the wire transfer as well

    Nice view of the lake but definately do not book this hotel it was not a good place , most rooms derelict, carpet’s threadbare on the stairs , lifts not working , notices taped to the doors of most rooms that looked as though they had been condemned.

    The hotel is under new management and maintenance to upgrade the hotel are in full process but as a guest it did not bother me at all. It will take probably some time but in the meantime the place is clean and well taken care off. Breakfast was excellent, the staff is very help full and makes you feel at home. it has a great terrace with a Beautiful view over the valley. Only point of attention is the parking space, there is a private parking garage with a only few reserved spaces for the hotel but the rest is shared with the neighbors. parking around the building is kind of a challenge but a public parking is 100 meters away. All in all I would certainly recommend the hotel and would re book the hotel in a heartbeat

    An Amazing view with best panoramic view of the lake and mountains. Plus bonus view of the dears grassing in the early hours. The chalet have everything you need at top quality. Do not miss the nearby easy hike with wonderful views of the woods, fields and lake. It’s an experience to treasure. The chalet is Easy accessible and near all what you need .     Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer.

    Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer. We have spend majority of our time outdoors, enjoying nature. The ski resorts around Unterseen are amazing and within just 30 minutes you are on the slopes but without spending a fortune of money for a hotel, as it is usually the case when staying at a mountain resort.

    We loved the trip to top of Jungfrau fabulous experience...

    We loved the trip to top of Jungfrau fabulous experience also Harder Kulm by the funicular and another brilliant trip was to Schynige Platte by cog railway which was brilliant. We also visited the Ballenberg open air museum which was very interesting and took us all day to go around it. Interlaken is a good central location for visiting the area
