Lovely comfortable room with full length windows and a fantastic mountain view to wake up to. Beds and bowls had been left for our 2 dogs too so that was a nice touch. The breakfast was really good with tasty local produce and the lady on reception (who served us breakfast too as the reception was in the restaurant) was very friendly. Switzerland is never the cheapest place to go but we found our stay to be good value and we'd definitely like to return.

My second stay at this hotel for hiking in the surrounding mountains and for seeing the waterfall Stäubifall. Room vas extremely clean. Excellent food. The veal liver was delicious. Gentleman who speaks English was very kind, helped me carry the suitcase upstairs. He was attentive, efficient and quick to understand and fulfill my requests.

A nice hotel in a beautiful location. Very delicious food (we got both dinner and breakfast). This was the first stop of our cycling tour (not so easy to reach the village by a regular bike!), and we've got everything we expected - clean and quiet room with a fantastic view, a safe place to park our bikes, hot food, and attentive staff. Thank you!

The light in the bathroom is not bright enough to do makeup at the nice mirror provided. The noises from the restaurant below could be heard, but wasnt too loud. Garbage disposal was problematic and inconvient.

One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, that is not...

One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, that is not very much known to international travelers, which means cable car prices here are way cheaper than for example Mont Pilatus. It has everything, the lakes, majestic mountain peaks, secluded Seelisberg See, the historical background. The shape of Vierwaldstättersee makes it looking like a fjord from above. I truly adore this area and I think it's highly underrated.

Quiet village situated centrally for access to stunning mountain scenery and impressive passes. No more than 90 minutes by car from Zurich airport and the same from Chur for Bernina and Glacier Expresses. 20 minutes from Andrematt and that it has to offer. Swiss rail station within walking distance

Long narrow drive up to Isenthal, not for the faint hearted. Basic accommodation with friendly staff and excellent location with mountain views. If you don't like pork your out of luck as the restaurant only served various tasty dishes of pork.

What I liked the quite location.

What I liked the quite location. What I didn't like, the payment wasn't handled by Booking.com . The management company charged our account twice for the property, we had to complain to them before they revised the second charge. Be aware of places that didn't use PayPal, or the ones they want to get your credit card details.

Nice place.

Nice place. I used it for an overnight stop, whilst continuing the next day to Italy. It is clean, price is right, nothing special. Price and quality match, people are friendly. I phoned in advance to check how to find it, the owner explained this to me clearly and in a friendly way. Not far from the highway, next morning I was in 10 minutes back on it.

it is a great location to stay a few days and their facilities and staff were excellent. It was first hotel we had to pay for our parking on our trip around switzerland, which i feel there is no need to when you are a guest .

Perfect place!

Perfect place! It´s a very calm place and you will experience the real contact with the nature. In this region, you will have a lot of places to visit, or just to take a seat and enjoy the view of the lake.

The staff were very friendly.

The staff were very friendly. The owners (Gaby and Andy) gave us hints for where to hike in winter and loaned us walking sticks. The view from our room was beautiful looking at the mountains and lake across the valley. We assume summer will be beautiful as well. The restaurant was also excellent with a good selection and service. Breakfast included with the room was also great. Altdorf was a nice little village and people were helpful. We plan to return with our children and their partners.
