And of course the view of the Matterhorn is unbeatable. I was able to watch both sunrise and sunset during my stay without any hassle having to find a viewpoint that requires efforts. The staff is amazing. I felt very welcome and was made at home. The facility includes both breakfast and dinner which I found very convenient and loving - since it’s up in the mountain, if these meals weren’t available or demanded a cost it’d feel quite unloving. Make sure you check the timetable to plan for your trips. Our experience of Blatten was amazing! We were blown out by this little gem! We went up the cable car, had some drinks, came down and some more by the restaurant across the street. A very well run town.
A very well run town. Train service from Täsch was easy to navigate, and the down town area was walkable and quaint. Lots of shops and restaurants, although the shops tend to close early. Great option for being affordable if wanting to visit Zermatt. A trains runs between the two cities every 20 minutes which makes travel easy. Not much in Täsch in terms of shopping/restaurants so keep that in mind before leaving Zermatt.Guest review byReesha - 10.0
If you like walking this trip is for you.
If you like walking this trip is for you. The Matterhorn Trail was fantastic as the track was complimented with beautiful places to eat. Food is expensive though with little choice. We found we paid posh restaurant prices for cafe style food. Dont use the taxis, (far too expensive) use the free bus or walk. Walking is best.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
