A hidden gem of hotel. It was bit out of the way for people wanting to visit Zurich. It was lovely drive from airport to hotel through Swiss countryside. Continental breakfast was nice with freshly baked bread, eggs, fruit and selection of breakfast cheese & meats.

Excellent room (they even gave me a free upgrade to a larger room although it wasn't necessary)--comfy bed, microwave and fridge with free water and a beer in it, nice shower, motion sensor nightlight in the bathroom, extra clean, helpful staff. The location was great--2 blocks from the lake with path to the old town) and right by a tram stop and only 2 tram stops from a train station that takes you to the airport. A super stay and I would stay there again. Only drawback was no elevator, but they gave me a choice of ground floor room or second floor.

Every single aspect the location, the room, the breathtaking view, the cleanliness, the staff, the culinary experience, the care for nature and the thoughtful details in every corner,truly deserves a 5-star rating and beyond. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and I plan on going back very very soon!! there is a lovely hike from the hotel and it was picturisq exploring the place. It is a beautiful respite from all the boring hotels in the city of Zurich, and it has become a part of my annual holiday plan, if not more frequently

The room was large with a comfortable bed, air conditioning with a modern bathroom. Tram stop just outside the hotel for easy access around the city. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, we paid for breakfast with our room and would recommend this as the food was great.

It's an OK city. Pricey!

It's an OK city. Pricey! Overall everywhere in Switzerland is very expensive, especially with the meals! It appeared that the restaurants want your money but do not want to feed you! Very small portion of food! They even charge you for tap water, 4 Swiss Franks for 0.5 ml and 8 Swiss Franks for 1 liter. Charging tap water for money is everywhere in Switzerland, not just in Zurich. If you ordered food without a drink, they immediately showed reluctancy to serve you. They make sure they will not miss any chance to charge you. If you want to see Switzerland, go in the summer. After October, almost everything is closed. Transportation in Switzerland is very expensive. Next time, I would spend my vacation and my money in Germany, at least the German restaurants' prices are decent and they serve pretty big portion of food! It is much cheaper to travel in Germany!

Kloten is just a dormitory town for the airport.

Kloten is just a dormitory town for the airport. Not much there just some restaurants and supermarkets. I was there because it was near the airport. There are rail links to Zurich which can be reached in less than 30mins so easy to visit.

I do not normally give a bad review of a property but this Hotel has some issues that need addressed. Lots of construction around the Movenpick Hotel. Very noisy. They did provide pickup and drop-off at the airports. The food was not very good and either restaurant. There was food debris all over the floor of both restaurants. We were at this hotel for two nights and the floors in the eating areas were never swept. Their was a bad odor in the check in area every day...like sewer..? Both of us had the hamburger from the bar service and both of the sandwiches were undercooked. Both sandwiches had a bad flavor of maybe poor quality beef.. The lighting the our room was poor as several lamps had very very low wattage going to them so it was hard to see.

Museums, old town, C&A shop reasonable for students, friendliness of people, excellent service and everyone spoke English and courteous to us. People went way and beyond to help us - 1 patifnrt took us to train station to help facilitate student train pass.

Clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and helpful! Had a couple of minor issues, but the fantastic breakfast made up for any pitfalls! Would definitely go there again. Good value! It was only a stopover stay for one night, which was all I needed.

My wife and I would have loved to enjoy Zurich but we only used the airport for arrival and departure. We rented a car to enjoy Switzerland and I can tell you that the roads were nice and well documented. We also found the airport to be efficient and the staff very friendly.

Very convenient to visit Zurich (10 mins to the main station by train and trains and 15 mins to Zurich airport by bus/tram). All public means of transport are on-time, reliable, and very often. Shops, restaurants, bakeries - all within a walking distance.

It is a residential area, and away from the scenic Instagramable Switzerland pics you see online. It is a nice quite area to live in, only if it is not your first time to Switzerland, and if you are there for a longer duration stay

From outside the Hotel looks a bit run down. But from inside it is just like a 5 star hotel. Neat and clean with a very helpful and friendly staff. Easy to locate it and many nice restaurants at a walking distance .Free Parking is a bonus. It is not airconditioned but offers fan which is of great help

Dietikon is on the railway to central Zurich and other...

Dietikon is on the railway to central Zurich and other places in Switzerland. But if you are coming to Zurich via the airport, it's a complicated journey by either car or train so I would try to fine a district that is near the airport or between it and central Zurich. If you are going to visit western suburban Zurich it should be a good location.
