- From $250 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 473 reviewsThis serene boutique hotel is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. We had a corner room with views toward the snow capped mountains and over the sound. Every aspect of the property is curated to create a zen like aura. Sadly, we were their only for one night! It is out of town but taxis are readily available and in expensive in Natales. Hotel restaurant meals (dinner and breakfast) were excellent.Guest review byAnneUnited States
- From $356.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,159 reviewsVery good breakfast, lots of choices.. Great excursion facilities and services with the Massif desk. Amazing selection of food and drinks at resto bar. The tired legs massage at the spa was great after the base Torres hike. The spa, pool and sauna were really nice too and very good staff at the hotel and spa! Definitely felt pampered and well looked after, after a long day of excursions.Guest review byPoorviIndia
- From $150 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,411 reviewsGreat price and location. The most family friendly place we stayed at during our Chile trip - right down to the heated pool - WITH KID TOYS (pool floaties, noodles!). Best continental breakfast. Great WIFI. Able to have an hour long phone call sorting out flight issues. Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. Very helpful to have restaurant on site with accommodating hours.Guest review byMariaUnited States

We loved strolling along the waterfront in Puerto Natales,...
We loved strolling along the waterfront in Puerto Natales, taking in the stunning mountain and fjord views - especially beautiful at sunset. The town center was charming, full of cozy shops and local crafts. Getting around was easy since Puerto Natales is small and very walkable, so you don’t really need a car unless you’re heading out to Torres del Paine. Our trip was packed with unforgettable experiences. We tackled the challenging but rewarding hike to the base of the Torres del Paine, where the towering granite spires and turquoise glacial lake left us speechless. We also enjoyed the Tour Lago Grey, about 104 km from town, where we got close to the impressive Grey Glacier and admired the iconic Cuernos del Paine. A visit to the Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument, located roughly 26 km north of Puerto Natales, gave us a fascinating glimpse into the region’s ancient past. For meals, we savored local flavors at Mesita Grande, where we tried guanaco meat cooked in traditional style. We stocked up on groceries at Unimarc Puerto Natales and Frutería La Sureña, which had everything we needed. To explore the area comfortably and at our own pace, we rented a Toyota Rush, a 7-seater SUV, from EMSA Rent A Car Avis sublicense for four days (10–14 April 2025), paying a total of 354,000 CLP. Over the course of our trip, we drove about 900 km, which gave us great flexibility. We also took an easy and affordable bus transfer from Puerto Natales Rodoviario station to Punta Arenas Terminal Bus-Sur.Guest review byDr_Igor_1971Malaysia - 10.0
Epic stunning views! It’s a trip & many hikes worth making.
Epic stunning views! It’s a trip & many hikes worth making. Wish we could spend more time amongst the mountains and/or drive around exploring without having to worry about the lack of petrol station in TNP. The roads are mostly gravel with many many pot holes! Good to see sectors of the roads are being re-surfaced during our trip.Guest review byAnnaneoSingapore - 10.0
Small town with great food.
Small town with great food. The place i stayed was Yendagaia House and I highly recommend it. You can travel by road through Tierra del Fuego to see king penguins at Penguino Rey. The best kept secret here is the Parque Estromalitos. One of the few places in the world you can see them and it's just 10 minutes from this beautiful city.Guest review byMeenaIndia - 8.0

Cerro Castillo is a good compromise to stay to visit the park (It's around 45 minutes drive to the Torres Del Paine NP). From Puerto Natales it's 1,5 hours drive and within the park there are only very expensive or very basic (and still expensive) options for staying. You need a car (also in the NP) because of the distances and very limited shuttlebus options.Guest review byRemkoCanada - 10.0
Puerto Williams looks like it used to be more charming.
Puerto Williams looks like it used to be more charming. Perhaps we came during the Christmas and New Years holiday, but nearly all of the shops and restaurants were closed. I heard that it never really bounced back after COVID, but I am hopeful that we were just there during a slow time, since some of the restaurants and shops looks really charming from the outside. A local told us that it's a combination of things. Cruise ships do stop here, so I am hopeful. However, we did walk around and get some snacks from the local market and sat with a wonderful view of the channel to enjoy our purchases. There were some cafes down near the wharf that we didn't have time to visit. All of the locals were very friendly and helpful. Knowing Spanish is a great help.Guest review byDerekUnited States - 8.0

A charming, welcoming little town that serves as a base for excursions to Torres del Paine and either the King or Magellan penguins. It is a pleasant and quiet place with great coffee shops (Tapiz and History of Coffee among others) which have great cakes and delicious coffee, and restaurants (La Marmita and La Casa de Doña María) with excellent food at a reasonable price.Guest review byRafaelUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Apart from being the start point for Torres del Paine Park, Puerto Natales has a great Municipal Museum ( very well curated in English as well as Spanish) and v good 'industrial museum' located in the Singular Hotel (5km along fiord from town). Singular is upmarket hotel with good coffee and light snacks - they refund the 5000 peso/person museum entrance fee if any money spent in restaurant/cafe - well worth it.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0

There are no shops or petrol stations near the park so stock up with what you need before leaving Puerto Natales. The hotel at Lago Grey has a decent restaurant that let us walk in - a nice place for a snack before the boat trip to the glacier (which was good fun)Guest review bydrsdr1United Kingdom - 8.0
Charming town with lots of little shops for its size.
Charming town with lots of little shops for its size. We were here just after the tourist season which may be why so many were closed. But we came for the trekking which did not disappoint. The town is friendly and myself (49 male) and my 19YO daughter felt comfortable walking anywhere in town at any hour.Guest review byAnonymous
