- From US$482.51 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 556 reviewsWow... where to begin. My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary and The Royal Corin went above and beyond to make our experience incredible. I would put this resort in my top 3 best hotels for the staff and service alone. The staff had a "yes" attitude and made us feel very welcome and taken care of (they were honestly amazing from the doorman, reception, to the cleaners). The towel designs on the bed, the little notes, balloons, strawberries and chocolate, etc, were the little things that made me feel very special on my birthday! On an allergy note, the restaurants were willing to adapt the meals as I am gluten free. The breakfast buffet is not celiac safe but the chef will make you a separate breakfast (whatever you want). Shout out to Jonathan who was an amazing server at breakfast (he went out of his way to find me some GF cereal to eat so I wasn't left out). It's amazing that this resort doesn't have day pass guests and is also adult only. The main pool is a lovely hot temperature and the pool bar is super cool! They even let you order food from any restaurant, straight to the pool. The Junior Suite was spacious and had a nice view of the volcano.Guest review byOliviaAustralia
- From US$791 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 88 reviewsThe resort is absolutely incredible! It is located in the heart of a lush rainforest with the local ecosystem being preserved. The facilities and accommodations are beautiful, clean and well-maintained. The villas are spacious and feature a thermal-water jacuzzi pool on a huge terrace. It was truly amazing to soak in the jacuzzi overlooking the jungles after dark. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and taken care of, and I felt like I was staying with family and friends. The resort is quite spacious, perfect for walking and hiking lovers like me. But for those who prefer not to walk, gold cars are readily available. Overall, I had an incredible experience and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious yet eco-friendly retreat in the heart of nature.Guest review byOlgaNetherlands
- From US$370 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 797 reviewsThis is an amazing place! The chalet is beautiful, clean and spacious. We had a fabilous view of the Arenal vulcano from our window and terrace. Chalets are surrounded by a beautiful garden where different wild and farm animals roam around. There was also a sloth living on a tree there. The little farm they have is extremely well maintained and you can try milking the cow and collecting eggs every morning. Animals seem very well cared for. The hot springs are gorgeous, the place makes you feel like you are in paradise. We highly recommend this place!Guest review byAjdasSlovenia
- From US$215.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 136 reviewsThe on-site hot springs are beautiful. The included 30 min spa treatments (one per stay pp) were a nice touch. The activity (one per stay pp) was brilliant. The bird life around the property and the trail walk is beautiful. Lunch was good for veggies and view from the restaurant to the volcano is amazing. Pool bar man is a diamond!Guest review byTamsinUnited Kingdom
- From US$280.24 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 574 reviewsAbsolutely clean! The complimentary hotel tour around property with David was better than some paid tours we booked outside of hotel. He spotted camaflouged howler monkeys right outside front desk area. His telescope came in very handy. He took us to the farm to make refreshing sugar cane water. Very nice surpriseGuest review byLoreleiUnited States

The centre is not over touristified.
The centre is not over touristified. A few good supermarkets. A good variety of food options, with some good Sodas. A lot of accommodation to choose from. Nice Central Park. Many activities to choose from, and easy to get transport to them if you don’t have a car. The Mundo 12 zip lines can’t be missed.Guest review bysharronNew Zealand - 10.0

Our trip was mostly rejuvenation, health and to access the volcano and hot springs. We went to Arenal park and hiked the trail to the Volcano. We saw a Capibara but most other wildlife is best viewed in the early morning. There were a lot of orchids in bloom along the trails. Going to EcoTermales Hotspring was the highlight. It's a gorgeous naturally constructed spa with layered pools, waterfalls all built with stacked granite rockery, bridges and pathways connect the pools, and there's plenty of seating, an open bar that serves the best mixed drinks. The restaurant served fresh healthy assortment of seafood and meats with veggie dishes with dessert at Lunch. The water was fed from the natural hotspring, which was circulated , refreshed constantly with fresh volcanic water. Attention to the holistic elements of nature were throughout. Staff and Service were top notch.Guest review bySuZImageZCanada - 10.0

We enjoyed the area and while we did a lot including driving to Monteverde for zipline tour, we chose one day of pampering rather than adventure so did not hike around Arenal or paddle board on Arenal. We did white water rafting between Puerto Viejo and Fortuna. We did waterfall repelling near Fortuna (amazing). The people are friendly and the area is lovely. We enjoyed a night time nature tour with our hotel (Noah's Landing) and Nayara Gardens was amazing. We saw plenty of sloths but so much more! We went to the Mistico hanging bridges on a rainy day which worked well-it did not matter. We also visited the Fortuna Waterfall (500 steps down-then 500 steps up but worth it!) If you like adventure- there is plenty. If you want to relax-it is a beautiful place to do so.Guest review byTamiUnited States - 10.0

This is a great area to experience Costa Rica and the wildlife. We visited Mistico hanging bridges (great with a guide as located creatures we would not have); La Fortuna waterfall (no guide needed); Sky adventures (aerial tram, zip lines & trails); sloth guided tour; Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails (day pass with lunch) - all of which we would recommend!Guest review byAmandaUnited Kingdom
