Total gem, old fashioned style of hotel polite staff, lovely lady in charge, amazing location. KP is remote it takes about 2 hours to drive from Paphos but it’s well worth it. KP has been stranded by the Turkish invasion of 1974, it used to be a fairly short journey from Nicosia via Morphou, which can’t be carried out with a hire car. Break with the normal 14 days around the pool, go and see a different Cyprus stay here for two or three days, there is no pool but it’s on a beach. The rooms are clean, recently renovated, the shower was awesome, the bed comfortable, the a/c worked well, there was a great Cyprus breakfast of tomatoes, cheese, ham bread and coffee. The evening meal was superb, you will not believe the depth of colour of the locally produced olive oil on the salad!

the location was perfect. Right next to the village. Spacious parking. The host was waiting for us to give us the keys. He showed us around the room, so we could find anything that we might need. The room was perfect, with a little fridge, microwave, heater, etc. They even had a switch to turn the water on so we could take a hot bath in the cold Kakopetria.
Everything was perfect. Totally recommend it!

Beautifully decorated apartment (201) with clean and modern facilities yet still having lots of lovely rural decorative ornamental pieces. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning in all rooms was a real bonus. Stunning shared pool area (for the 3 apartment) and we had it to ourselves for all of our stay. Views from the terrace and pool area have to be seen to be appreciated.

The whole hotel was decorated in every corner for Christmas creating a very warm environment. The breakfast area has a fireplace making the atmosphere very cozy and cute. The host was also very friendly and welcoming. We forgot our charger and he helped deliver this back to us through courier after our check out.

Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Its picturesque setting, with stone houses, cobblestone streets, and lush landscapes, creates an idyllic atmosphere for visitors.
The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages.
Well organized beyond to what meets the eye.
Everybody can see the stunning village, especially at night. But only true nature lovers and adventures will fully enjoy the magic of the area.
There are tons of well maintained hiking trails to explore on foot or bike. Dozens of hidden gems to discover and plenty of great restaurants in the village and surrounding area to enjoy!

Pedoulas was a wonderful base from which to explore this area of the Troodos Mountains. It was our first time in the mountains of Cyprus and we wanted to see sites such as Kykkos Monastery, Archangel Michaels church etc. and to do nature trails in the mountains. We achieved these objectives very comfortably from our location and could also move on to the west coast with a scenic (but very winding!) drive back down to sea level:)

Absolutely loved being here. Great location. The host got us fruits from here garden orchard. She brought us lovely eggs from her own chickens. She just was so lovely and explained the area to us and made us so at home. We loved it so much we stayed more than planned.
Easy to get to the Olympus mountain and the Todooros mountains.
Great little place. Parking is super just in the yard. Private too very quiet.
The best WiFi reception. The best host and kindest.
Thank you for making mine and my partners stay homely relaxing and so special.

Beautiful and well preserved mountain village, people are really friendly and they show love for their place. It is obvious they take good care of it. We had dinner and lunch at two different places and they were both really good. There is also a nice coffee shop with views of the mountains.

There was a construction site around the flat.
There was a construction site around the flat. So it was difficult to get there, plus no one made the effort to tidy anything up. There was no Mountain View as stated in the description. There were stains on the sofa. Worst part was that there was too much noise from the upstairs flat, as the walls were definitely not soundproof.

What a amazing place it has everything nature, walks mountains. Beautiful square. Just a beautiful place to relax and enjoy your time with loved ones, and friends. Even just couples it has amazing magic.
We ate at the local restaurants Great food and hospitality. The plus was you can walk have a few glasses wine and leave the car at the hotel great for the drivers.

The spa and treatments were special. The location was unique. Views are amazing! Food was fresh and tasty. Buggies were ready available to take you to your car, carry your luggage etc. Complimentary drinks were a nice touch. Cobbled streets and lots of steps can be hard to walk on if elderly or infirmed. Vehicular lift is handy to take you to the main road where there are restaurants and bars, also a kiosk selling many items. Good nature trails.
