She helped the woman on check-in who didn't speak any English. Secure Bike storage was provided in the bowling alley. The initial room was unacceptable due to the bed arrangement but this was rectified quickly and professionally. The new room was much bigger.. Basic but clean. Also it was nice and quiet. There was a fridge but no kettle or coffee. The towel drying rack in the bathroom actually worked really well. Our room was in the same building as the restaurant. Ongoing theme for us, no elevator. There is also a really nice sauna that someone really enjoyed. The initial meeting with the waitress was a challenge. She soon warmed up to us and we experienced a really good meal of local cuisine. I stayed two days, which was my plan, but the weather was...
I stayed two days, which was my plan, but the weather was really bad. Lots of rain and wind. In decent weather, this would be a terrific city to explore. In the rain, I had to dodge into (beautiful) churches to keep dry, and to just make sure I wasn't out too much in the bad weather. But be aware that the famous column, for which Olomouc is so well known, is undergoing a complete renovation and is surrounded by scaffolding, so you can't see it. This won't be completed until 2027, unfortunately. But I found some good restaurants, and speaking a bit of Czech really helped me a lot. I was here to do some family tree research, found the place delightful. Pity there were no street bikes to hire, as the 3 bike shops in town didn’t quite understand English. I liked the amount of pubs, smaller restaurants and stores. There's also a great place selling Velkolosinsky Praliny and even a local pivovar! Also o small park and a casual bike trails. We haven't even visited Termy, but liked it for it's Czech feeling!Guest review bySewerynPoland - 10.0

Nice city, its possible to visit all historical places in one day if u r in hurry, if u want to enjoy the place, its perfect for 2-4 days of staying. Most of these places are closed to each other.
