Very nice accommodation close to Ceske Svycarsko. Our room was very cozy, comfortable and quiet, we could not hear the main road at all. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious with a lot of choices. Self check in was easy. There is a lot of parking spaces in front of the building. The value for the price is very good, we can recommend this place.

The property was well situated in the forest area, very clean and absolutely peaceful. The room was very big and everything was spotlessly clean and very well kept. Beds were big and very comfortable with great bedding. We ate at the property and it was simply great, we were very impressed with our stay. The staff was also lovely and helpful. We'd happily stay again.

The staff was super helpful, anticipating our needs and giving us the tips for the trip. The property itself is super nice - newly renovated, tastefully, very clean and quiet. Breakfast was really good. Highly recommend. It is 5 min walk from the centre of Hrensko - all the restaurants are close.

Simply said, this accommodation was excellent and over our expectations. The old house is fully renovated since 2020. Our room, restaurant and whole hotel was very cozy and nice. We would like to point out great menu and food served for a dinner. Also wine list with good selection of wine was appreciated. However, the atmosphere would not be so great without very nice and helpful staff. We loved informal chats with the staff after dinner or at the breakfast. Finally, we really enjoyed our stay there.

    Amazing hotel on the street to my home, so i just stay for one night. Room was huge and clean. Special bufet breakfast with 3hot food (eggs,bacon and sausages) and other cold variety, sweets. Restaurant have amazing beer and food, so sure try it. Pitty dont allowed dogs/ NOT PETFRIENDLY (this time i was alone, but i travel the most with them, so sad that i cannot came back) Free parking inside with close gate Sure reccommended to everyone

    The city itself is not exceptional but offers a good base for people who want to visit the surrounding area (Bohemian Switzerland in Czech Republic, Saxon Switzerland in Germany). Less crowded and more affordable than e.g. Bad Schandau on the other side of the border.

    A great launching pad for walking in the area.

    A great launching pad for walking in the area. Hřensko itself is fairly basic, but with a few decent restaurants serving local dishes. Plenty of tat to buy on street stalls too if you want presumably knock-off Nike hoodies, watches where the hands fall off or a wide selection of butterfly knives. It's a base for hiking, not a place you would visit in itself. Access is easy by train and a 1 minute ferry trip across the Elbe. Schmilka is just 20 minutes walk away.

    Charming medieval Bohemian city, out of the way of most tourists. Do not miss the Gothic exhibition in the Galerie umění, featuring the altarpieces by the Master of Litoměřice. I would recommend 2 days - one for Litoměříce, and one for Terezín/Theresianstadt, just 3km away. We can recommend the excellent pizzas at Gurmánie and the designer chocolates at Bouda's.

    Most is in general a nice place, they have a hockey hall, a lake worth visiting, especially in summer, there is a racing track and a castle. Food as in general for Czech republic is great, I would recommend Irish pub and their famous pork knuckle and tartar. In Most, you mostly walk around the city, for visiting racetrack and lake you can use a taxi as there are plenty, the only problem is, that Most taxi drivers only speak Czech language but a bit of google translate does the job.

    Žatec features a nice central square with a recently...

    Žatec features a nice central square with a recently restored town hall, a big church and a one-of-kind town gate. We discovered a huge synagogue (still under restoration) that reminds one of the Moorish architecture of Prague's Sephardic synagogue. We found it difficult to find a normal Czech restaurant in the evening. Žatec is known among the Czech because of its hop and its beer. There exists even a hop museum.

    Really liked the area, the location of the hotel.

    Really liked the area, the location of the hotel. Hospitality was fine but some things were really amateuristic or even unprofessional, like very bad English and / or German speaking staff. The restaurant is an absolute no go. A home made version of mint tea seems to be a tea bag in hot water and home made fries come from the freezer. Very old fashioned, very limited choices, absolutely nothing available without meat.

    Hrensko is beautifully placed village, destroyed by selling stands with all kind of "garbage". I do understand that this is city on the border (CZ-DE) so "overboarder trade" is local business, however either those kind of stalls should be placed outside of the walking center (e.g. on the river bank on the way to the border), or it should be nicely designed, not to destroy the beauty of the village. When you walk thru the center - you do not feel like you are in the picturesque mountain village, rather you feel like in a middle of bazaar.

    In two words Underestimated city!

    In two words Underestimated city! It's hidden gem in North Bohemia. Has rich cultural live, various restaurants, bath and many children friendly places. There is also huge options to outskirts trips.
