The hotel is perfection, from design until digitalised registration. It gives you spa access. Rooms are very well done with attention to every detail. I liked the choices of cosmetics for shower. Welcome drinks was very timely. It is super fun to have a swing in the room. We honestly did not want to leave. We hope to come back for another relaxing weekend.

What a beautiful hotel in the best location (especially for the Christmas markets) the man on the front desk could not have been more welcoming and friendly, the concierge who brought our mountain of luggage was polite and prompt. The room was gorgeous, a big fluffy bed, large bathroom and view onto the markets could not have been nicer, must also be noted that this was the least expensive of the rooms we stayed in at the various Christmas markets towns but above and beyond the nicest. The bar was a great place to have an after market cocktail with the cool tunes of the piano man. Take the valet parking if it’s a busy time of year as it’s well worth it for the ease of parking outside and abandoning your car to someone who knows how to negotiate the trams! Great hotel.

This was my second time staying here due to my surgery at the Gelenk Klinik nearby and it's a very nice and affordable hotel. It's close to Gundelfingen and pretty close to the center of town. The breakfast is very nice, the bed was super comfy and I had a nice view of the sunset from my room. The staff are friendly and helped me get a taxi to the hospital when I was leaving. I would book again because the price is so good.

The hotel is situated near one of the clock towers a short walk to the Munster. The building is architecturally beautiful. Very old but very well maintained. Super warm, cosy room with extremely comfortable beds. A nicely presented breakfast with plenty of choice. We may return to Freiburg and will stay here again if we do. Helpful and attentive staff.

Compact rooms but well equipped and with a tidy approach we were fine for 2 nights. Air con was fabulous, as was noise insulation. Staff were friendly and helpful. When complaining directly with the Hotel (in English) we were told (in German) that their system did not recognise the cancellation... A small town known for its thermal springs (Vita Classica baths and thermal clinics). Located not far from Freiburg and having good public transport connections, it allows visitng the area which is reach in sights and attractions, including beautiful nature for hiking. Perfect for a stay over a weekend or for a longer stay for thermal treatment.

We were turned away by the hotel as were not vaccinated. The receptionists said we should have looked up Google to find out if we could stay in that region of Germany.. I do believe that booking.com should have informed us. We had been driving for many hours from the Netherlands, I am 80 years old so was exhausted. Also the hotel should have told us before arrival. We carried on to Switzerland as the only option where we found a decent hotel. I am shocked to see that have since been charged the full amount by this hotel.

Bad food and really bad service from the Reception and in the restaurant. Reception would not share information on relevant activities in the area, e.g. outdoor public swimbad 1 km from the hotel. We asked two persions in reception over two days and the refused to tell what was evident on Google map. And was a really nice public swim bath.

This is a very good base for exploring the region, especially with the free bus and rail pass. The buses are regular and punctual, and connect with the main railway line at the next village up, Denzlingen. The village itself is really beautiful and, although there are lots of hotels, has kept its character. I recommend visiting the local wine cooperative. The local red wine in particular is quite unlike the generic stuff we are usually offered in the UK and well worth trying and bringing some home.

I liked the old town with the water channels and the character buildings. We walked up the hill and climbed the viewing tower and had an excellent view over the city and surrounding countryside. The Dokumentationszentrum Nationalsozialismus (Documentation Centre for National Socialism) in Freiburg was very impressive. We stayed there to be close to Frankfurt airport and able to fly directly to Scotland.

The town has lots going on, there is the Thermal Baths, a train station to go as far as Basel, Freiburg or Titisee. The town centre is pedestrianised so safe for children and there are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants.

The staff is excellent, very helpful and professional. The room was great,the bed comfortable. The windows can be opened and block out all noise. Our room was on the traintrack side and with closed windows no noise was detected. The breakfast was delicious with variations for any taste. The dinner options are minimal, mostly pizza or varieties thereof.

BK has an attractive garden with restaurants and hotels. The town centre is decorated with many plants, palms and flowers. You can walk everywhere and there is a train station for longer journeys.
