A very good spa hotel with modern facilities that are in top condition and, as noted by many others, a fantastic breakfast. The room (their cheapest) was larger (25 square meters) than in most similar hotels and was spotless with excellent day service. The hotel is very easily accessed by autobahn A7. One small negative is that there is no Kur garden as in some similar spa hotels. However, a map with suggested walks was available. The owners have a similar hotel in Dinkelsbühl. We look forward to visiting again.

The hotel is as splendid as we remembered from ten years ago. The view from the balcony is wonderful. Our room was large and very comfortable- I asked for twin beds and got these. It was difficult to climb 2 1/2 flights of stairs every time we went up to our room but the staff took our suitcases up and down for us which was very helpful .

This was the best hotel my wife and I ever stayed at! Breakfast and dinner is included in the price. The food was amazing; especially the breakfast. Next, we had the junior suite and it was comfortable, spacious, and had two bathrooms. FYI, there are no kids allowed here due to some pool areas people are allowed to be naked.

We enjoyed Nuremberg, we were there just before Christmas so enjoyed looking around the fantastic Christmas Markets around the Old Town. There was a great friendly Christmas vibe around the City!, also visited the former Nazi Rally Grounds which was interesting.

Regensburg is delightful and affordable. I visited 26-28th December, so it was cold. The views around the river are sensational. Even better if a busker is playing music on the bridge. Lots of restaurants and pubs. Great photos opportunities

We visited Würzburg for a short two-day trip just before the New Year, exploring the Würzburg Residence, the old town, and Marienberg Fortress. In the evenings, the old streets and the bridges over the Main River were beautifully illuminated and impressed us even more than the lavish interiors of the Residence. The panoramic views from the high banks of the Main overlooking the historic old town are truly spectacular. With its rich history and atmosphere, Würzburg feels like a true pearl of Franconia and clearly deserves its popularity with visitors.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber is an amazing historic Town.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber is an amazing historic Town. The charm extends to all of their buildings which many were historically restored after WWII. Wondering the streets is an adventure looking at all the beautiful buildings. The christmas market is quaint and charming and so much fun. We spent three days there and could have easily stayed longer.

Our highlight was a visit to Schloss Seehof which we reached by bus, using the Bamberg card. Really informative guided tour of the restored interior of the castle and the gardens including an impressive water cascade were impressive.

We were taken to at least two eating places: One near the train station; The Curry House Restaurant where I had a taste of Pork and another restaurant, southern end of FAU Institute, we had very tasty Pizza. Getting around Erlangen is quite easy considering affordable buses are all over the place. Next time I would avoid moving around the city by taxi instead of buses

A surprising big-little city outside Nürnberg with a rich history. Architectural highlights from Art Deco. Walkable. Some beautiful churches. US army base has been re-purposed as a sort of yuppy neighborhood. Major park contains a coffee shop to watch the locals. Look for the Florentine tower in the city center.

Plenty of Oriental food outlets also hairdressers and men's barbers....only one Italian restaurant to be found. Lots of Chinese restaurants couldn't find traditional German restaurants. Which was a shame.

This is Mecca for Wagner fans in July and August. The acoustics of the Festspielhaus are superb and unique--no other place achieves that blend of voice and orchestra. Bayreuth is a charming, real town--nothing kitschy or twee about it. Several good restaurants; and everyone stays open late to accommodate festival goers.

Spent most time exploring the city by foot. Love the pedestrian area and the very welcoming attitude where ever you went. The stay included several stops with a glas of wine and a bite. Restaurant L'Aperitivo bei Guiseppe was outstanding and a must visit when you are in Aschaffenburg. Very pleasant visit over all and I will definitely visit again soon.
