Our stay in Haus Stehlings Monschau was perfect! The key collection was very easy, and the communication with the host was equally simple. He gave us perfect directions regarding car parking, and kindly sent a message via WhatsApp, right after our arrival, to check if everything was ok and if we needed anything. We also felt warmly welcomed by the thoughtful gesture of the "printen" (a must-have local gingerbread) on our beds. :) Our two-bedroom family room (Castle Room) was large, clean, comfortable and had a jaw-dropping view of the fairytale town of Monschau. Located right in the middle of the historic area, we were able to walk all around. We also walked to the shops/supermarket that are about 3 km away, in town. I highly recommend this property. Thank you, Johannes, for the excellent stay!

    We were there on Unity Day so none of the shops were open,...

    We were there on Unity Day so none of the shops were open, we did see the Cathedral which was well worth the visit as it was magnificent. Closest parking lot is Conti Park which is right beside the cathedral, we popped up a set of steps from the garage and there we were, right in front of it, parking was only 5 euros

    Duesseldorf is an amazingly beautiful city.

    Duesseldorf is an amazingly beautiful city. If you like to party it is obviously good for that as well since the bar scene seems to go all night long during the week. I'm no longer into the bar scene I just know that when I had to leave at 3am to catch my flight they were all still going strong on a Tuesday night. Besides that the architecture and the river scenes are amazing!!!

    Checked in on the Friday and visited the Signal Iduna Park for their game against Leverkusen,then visited the zoo on Saturday and spent Sunday walking around the centre and the national football museum. Everyone is friendly and getting around is easy with the tubes and buses.

    Bonn has not been bombed during WWII, therefore it has the largest well-conserved late 19th century urban area in Germany (Suedstadt). To be mentioned also, the Poppelsdorf Schloss and its wonderful restaurant situated within the Botanical Garden, the Poppelsdorfer Allee and the beautiful Rhine promenade in easy reach.

    Wonderful-sized city with leafy cycle paths and walkways, streams and the lake, plus beautiful architecture, friendly residents and some great food, including delicious Italian ice-cream.     We were overwhelmed by the splendour of the cathedral, and delighted by the new Charlemagne centre. Had there been more time we would have explored the city's history as displayed in the centre. The shops - both conventional and tourist-oriented - are excellent. There are many and various places for a coffee, drink or snack as well as good restaurants.

    Landschaft park is brilliant.. free and very interesting...history of the blast furnace and you can climb all over it... Nice that they preserve such an historical site. A big shopping centre (Forum) with some really good places to eat. We are in Asia in the Forum... great value for money (19 eur for 2 meals) and another day we ate from the kebab shop opposite the Asia... Both times, excellent food and reasonably priced.

    It’s ani e small good place .. my trip was too short to describe this town but located in the heart of Germany’s Ruhr area, is famous for its industrial heritage, cultural attractions, and vibrant nightlife. Highlights include the German Mining Museum, Schauspielhaus Theater, and lively shopping and dining districts

    Don’t expect a regular hotel, this is a ground floor 2 bed apartment which we were unaware of when we booked….however it ticked all our boxes for an overnight stay. No complaints here. Overall a good apartment with extras.
