No breakfast at the hotel but got coffee and pastries at the coffee shop all the time and it was great. Got to visit the "Mexican" restaurant, but it was only pretty, the food was disappointing. Their drinks were ok, but the food was nauseating.

We love everything about this hotel! The rooms, the service. Everyone is so attentive and friendly. A true little hidden oasis. The breakfast is a piece of artwork, the omelet was melting on the tongue. All in all we were made feel so special by everyone.

Everything was great. Gorgeous white marble bathroom. Spacious rooms with seating area. Top to floor windows. Quality bed linnen and towels. Aesthetically pleasing on every floor, not just the rooms. Helpful, friendly and English speaking staff. I will keep coming every time I’m in town. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

The modern hotel is located in the center of the Zona Colonial. Breakfasts in the hotel restaurant were delicious. The room was comfortable, perfectly clean and cleaned daily with a very comfortable double bed. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. There was a safe in the room. The room was big enough, comfortable, clean and well decorated. The staff was helpful and kind. The hotel has a safe parking area. The location is quiet and safe but a little bit far from zone colonial. The breakfast was delicious but with no buffet. It's a good choice after all.

The location is very centric. Is a very good option for business and staying the night in Santo Domingo. They served superb Dominican traditional breakfast and staff was very helpful. The checkout is at 1pm which is a huge differenciator in this market. It's an excellent option!

a beautiful city with a lot history and a modern feeling combine. good food .friendly people. we all ways fell safe you can see police pretty much everywhere. calle de las damas is a most go street. super easy and safe to walk around . boca chica is the closer beach near the citi.

I only used this as a 2 nights stop whilst waiting for a...

I only used this as a 2 nights stop whilst waiting for a rearranged flight home. Booked it very late and got great reception and response from host to get me the keys and and settle in. Close to the airport (5 minute taxi ride) There's a supermarket within 10 minutes walk with ATM's and obviously anything you need for shopping. I didn't look around the area any further. The flat was fairly clean with basic amenities and if i needed to wait over again for a flight the i would definetly consider using this host again.

I spent one day with a group tour around the city: caves,...

I spent one day with a group tour around the city: caves, panoramic tour by bus, historical part and I loved it! I stayed in a lively area where on Sunday families were playing sports, listening to music, eating out and I loved it, The food is very affordable. Finally, I went by myself to the museums in the historical part again: Catedral la Primada, Ambar museum, Larimar museum. I ate at a restaurant next to the Last Columbus's house and the food was amazing.

Sad, overpriced and not very nice. A lot of rubbish everywhere. No local culture. Beaches were poor. Theres a view of a large powerstation from the beach. No good food available apart from ridiculously overpriced top-end restaurants. Very shabby and disappointing overall. A poor end to a disappointing trip to the Dominican Republic which these days feels like a rerirement haven for expats. We left feeling deflated.

I'd take a pass on traveling to Santo Domingo again, I've traveled to a lot of developing countries, but this city is the worst capital in Latin America. The service is all around terrible within the city, it is expensive for what is offered, it is very, very underdeveloped, it is chaotic, and dangerous.

Nice city with so many changes in the years I've been. A bit annoying to deal with the vendors who seem to come every 5 minutes. Also watch out for the locals who try and get you to sit down and eat . They will mark up the prices of the food to make money off of you . I recommend you take a picture of the menu and sit yourself down and wait for someone of the establishment to atend you . The locals will try and hustle you out your money
