This is a top quality hotel with a small hotel feel. I loved the service and restaurant. Location is perfect right in the middle of the old town and perfect for the Viljandi Folk Festival event.

One of the main assets of this hotel are the *staff*. They were consistently polite, helpful and caring. I would like to acknowledge in particular Kersti and Edmond at Reception and Gedy-Ly in the restaurant for their sterling service. Upon arrival I was given a room upgrade, and it was very clean, comfortable and quiet, with a splendid view of the magnificent evergreen trees just outside. The breakfast was very good indeed. I liked everything, particularly the scrambled eggs, bacon, croissants and jam.

The property offered a dedicated parking space for guests, and the owner accommodated our request to park the car there 2 hours before the check in and to leave the car there after checking out so we could explore the city further. In addition they allowed us to check in an hour and a half or so before the allowed check in time. The room was tidy and spotless, with a cozy fireplace providing warmth, and all amenities were in good working order and readily available.
