We had so much fun that since we are back home we dance every night with your move:Yallah Yallah!; GYM attendant: Mr. Mohamed is the best physioterapist ever. He helped us a lot for our back problems and teach us good exercises; POOL guardian: Ayman was taking care of us every day and always with a smile; RESTAURANTS: ALL your team is amazing, very professional, always making sure that nothing is missing from our table, also CHEFS who serves the food explained always what they were serving; Our favourite restaurant is MASHAWI Restaurant: we would like to mention an amazing service from Abu Gabel, Ebd Al Ram, Hamad, Hasan, Osman and all BAR Team and Ahmed Gaber Anicar. Every day we take our Espresso at the LOBBY BAR and we dont order cause Hamir already knows it and he bring it to us also very good service from Abd Alla BREAKFAST at the Sultan Buffet Restaurant usually served by Ahmed a very helpful and professional guy. The woman of the bread: I wish I was able like you to do my bread A very big thank you to Mr. Yasser working @pier and pool, we speak so much with him, he knows everything about turtles and dolphins 2 MAINTENANCE guys doing a job with some tubes in front of the yoga room by the beach and they spend only 15 minutes, did the job perfectly and always with a smile; GARDENERS taking amazing care of your beautiful plants PAINTERS fast and professional; Please excuse us if we forgot to mention someone really ALL the staff is amazing. I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of my room. The room was spacious and equipped with everything I needed. I also appreciated the on-site amenities, including the 5 à la carte restaurants which added a lot to the overall experience. First of all, the hotel is quite large, featuring various pools and bars, yet it remains completely quiet. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The in-room kettle, along with the selection of tea and Nescafé, is a nice touch. At the reception, Mr. Ziad was very helpful, offering general assistance and providing useful dinner suggestions. Mr. Mohamed was excellent when it came to making cocktails.

We just returned from a week's holiday in this hotel (2 adults, 2 children). The All positive reviews of this hotel are absolutely correct, this is a great place to stay, we highly recommend. Few points to mention: 1. Friendliness of the staff. This has exceeded our expectations. Whatever issue we had, it was immediately resolved with no hassle. The personnel is extremely polite at all levels - from a porter to reception manager. We have never seen anyone with a grumpy or annoyed look during our stay. This is impressive as it shows that hospitality is not just a buzzword for the management but a key value. Our children were also surrounded by smiles and care. 2. Facilities. there is everything for a family stay, a great aquapark with around 15 slides, several swimming pools, 7 restaurants, a beach, a gym (surprisingly well-equipped). Everything is also conveniently located so you don't need to walk too long (important with the young kids). 3. Food. Fresh, varied, tasty - there is something to everyone's taste. We did not even have time to visit all a-la carte restaurants. The ones we visited served tasty food (ok, obviously it's not the same Italian as in Italy in the Italian restaurant but it's good enough). Do visit the Bedouin restaurant though, the food there completely blew us away, it was one of the best cooked grilled meat that I have ever eaten in my life. Service at all restaurants is quick and efficient 4. The beach. A lovely sandy beach, very clean and well-kept (you can literally eat that sand, there is no dirt or garbage there). Shallow entrance to the water which is ideal for young children. There are 2-3 small coral reefs at the beach but of course to do some serious snorkelling you need to go somewhere else (we did not so can't comment on that). There were always enough sunbeds on the beach, you don't need to do a mad rush before breakfast to reserve spots, we never had any issues regardless of when we arrived there.

THANK YOU SINDBAD! I wanted to start this review by truly thanking each & everyone of the staff, I’ve never been more satisfied on a vacation. Amber and Dasha from the guest service, were the kindest ladies ever. They made sure that my trip was one to never forget! I met a lot of amazing people, like our doorman Khaled who always helped us with our luggages, Mo who is the lifeguard at the main pool, Mena who made the best cappuccino’s at the bar in the lobby…I highly recommend to book all your trips with the Sindbad Experience desk, Ahmed helped us very well with booking an amazing trip to Orange bay. During this trip, our Diving/Snorkeling instructor Lotfy made sure we were feeling safe (as it was our first time) & thanks to him we had an amazing bootday! The animation-team was great, the cleaning service was very very good, our bartender at the beach Romary always made the best cocktails while singing, you made us laugh all the time!! I can continue by thanking a lot of people, but I hope to whoever reads this review to book the hotel and experience meeting all these amazing people themselves. For me, it is without hesitation obvious that I will come back and I hope that you get reevaluated to be an 5 star hotel, because you really are. The hotel was everything we wanted for our stay. What surprised us the most was the cleanlines of everything, not just the rooms. It shows age of the structure but everyrhing is well taken care of and not at all in bad shape. We stayed in the swim up suite and I can't recommend it highly enough. The adult only areas of the hotel are a godsend, we stuck to those as they were less crowded and less noisy. The teppanyaki and the egyptian restaurants were really good to eat at. The staff was also very nice to everyone When we requested a late check-out they gave it to us free of charge. The service in the a-la-carte and the pool restaurant was exceptional I have to say. All in all a great stay and we would visit again sometime.

Marsa Alam is amazing. i would suggest to go there if your only purpose is water and nature because is the only thing that there is there. Desert and Marine life. iy you love adventures, that is the place.

The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya...

The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

Port Ghalib is worth a visit, outside of the AI Hotels. Nice bars, good restaurants and friendly people. On Saturdays there is now a Cruiseship visiting Port Ghalib, hopefully the effects on the reef etc. will be not too negative.

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea...

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing.

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

The sea was beautiful.

The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

Very nice and friendly locals!

Very nice and friendly locals! Not many tourists, no aggressive salesmen. The city is not rich, so expect some garbage lying around. Prices are generally very low, not adjusted for tourists (except at nearby hotels). We found only a few restaurants, but many fastfood places.

Everything is OK.

Everything is OK. Except that at the end the owner accuses you of opening some cupboard and drinking 3 beers without paying him. Ah, you specifically asked for his approval and left him money! Complaints follow to Booking, which asks you for 200 dollars for 3 small beers. I don't know... is this some kind of drain scheme, but be careful with this stuff!!!

Modern, elegant, thoughtfully designed, and full of charm, it truly stands out as a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Hurghada. For those seeking an authentic local experience, the Old Town provides a more traditional atmosphere. The market area can feel a bit chaotic and crowded at times, which may not suit every traveler, but it certainly offers a glimpse into the local culture for those who enjoy exploring and bargaining. The sea and diving scene in Hurghada were exceptional. With its crystal-clear waters and colorful marine life, it offers unforgettable underwater experiences — a true paradise for snorkelers and divers. We also joined a desert safari tour, where the ATV and UTV rides were exciting and well worth doing, especially for adventure lovers. However, the Bedouin village visit and the extended safari portion felt a bit tiring and may not be ideal for everyone, depending on personal preference. Overall, Hurghada delivers a rich mix of sea, sun, activities, and cultural exploration. Whether for diving, relaxation, or discovering unique corners like El Gouna, it’s a destination that offers a memorable and well-rounded experience.
