The room was spacious and spotless and the food options including the a la carte restaurants were excellent. AustriaWe had a very nice stay at the Jaz Elite Riviera. The staff is very friendly and helpful in all circumstances. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the food a lot. There is a large food buffet at breakfast, lunch and dinner times. However, also between these there are the possibilities to order food at a late breakfast and lunch at other restaurants at the pool and the beach. We prefer local food, but there is a great variability in joices and plenty of western food, but also some Arabic dishes to chose from.
The beach is beautiful and plenty of sunbeads are available and there is even services for drinks delivered directly to you at the beach.
We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Inside the resort we did many excursions from horseback riding in the water and in the desert to the view of the coral reef. We used the SPA which gave us sensational massages. A special thanks to the staff for welcoming and pampering us from the first to the last day. We will definitely be back Jacopo and Francesca.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Akassia Swiss Resort in Marsa Alam – El Quseir and I must say, it was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Mr.Hosni Abdel Magied, the guest relation manager, an extremely professional and attentive person, ensuring that all our needs were met and that my stay was as comfortable as possible.He went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience and all of our group of four truly appreciate his efforts. The resort is situated in a stunning location, right on the Red Sea, with breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. The crystal-clear waters were perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. The beach was clean and well-maintained, and I enjoyed lounging on the sand and soaking up the sun, as well as near the heated pool in the vicinity of the Pool bar, where we enjoyed the fantastic cocktails expertly crafted.The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the sea from our beds, with all the amenities I needed to make my stay enjoyable.Every day we came back from the sun bathing we were welcomed by very nice towel ornaments decorated with flowers and purple basil. What a wonderful scent! The food was absolutely delicious and varied, with plenty of options to suit all tastes and the restaurant`s location by the Red Sea made for some of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. We enjoyed local and international cuisine, many types of grilled food, fruits, mouth-wattering deserts, accompanied by a large variety of soft and alchoholic beverages.But what really made my stay at Akassia Swiss Resort so special was the staff. I recently had the pleasure of vacationing at this delightful resort, and I must say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the reception manager, Mr. Mahmoud Amer, warmly welcomed us and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Throughout our time here, it was evident that the entire staff genuinely cared about our well-being.
I must highlight the exceptional service provided by the restaurant manager, Mr. Mohamed Abdallah, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was impeccable. Likewise, from the bar, Mr. Hany, was incredibly attentive, always checking in to ensure our satisfaction. Ahmed from the diving centre impressed us with his generosity and genuine hospitality.
The housekeeping staff surprised us with thoughtful touches, while Osama, the lifeguard, displayed unwavering kindness and professionalism. The hardworking waiters, including Zezo and Abdo, were always eager to assist, making us feel truly valued. Special mention must go to Mr. Sameh from the restaurant, whose politeness and kindness were truly appreciated.
Moreover, the resort itself is a haven of tranquillity. The pool and beach areas are meticulously maintained, offering a serene environment to unwind. Our room was immaculate, well-equipped, and met all our needs. The culinary offerings were exquisite, with a diverse menu that tantalized our taste buds. Additionally, exploring the beautiful coral reef and vibrant marine life added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay.

Very attentive and friendly staff throughout. The Hotel Manager, the reception staff, and everybody else were very courteous and helpful and I felt well taken care of. They even have a guest relations Manager, (Nancy Mahmoud I think) who was super friendly and arranged dinner at the beach.
I loved the pools and my room - everything worked as expected with decent WiFi and AirCon.
The food was good for a buffet style - it did get crowded at breakfast and while it wasn't always top quality the value for money is superb. There was a good mix of buffet classics and local cuisine although I would have liked a bit more information about the local foods! The special dinner option is a quality step up for sure.
There are plenty of bars for drinks and snacks and there is an air conditioned Gym available too.
All in all I had a great stay!

It has been a great experience! Shams Alam is located in the best place of the Red Sea, where you can swim with the dolphins and to see the famous dugong. You can reach Shams from Marsa Alam airport in less than an hour! Every members speak english, italian and deutsch fluently. The cook Mohammed and his staff prepare international and local food every day, three time a day. The chambers are enormous and beautiful!
Let me say thank you Shams! We will carry all of you, in our heart!

I spent two weeks in Egypt and stayed in different hotels in Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Luxor, and Hurghada. But Three Corners in Marsa Alam was by far the best — the team was very helpful, the rooms were very clean, and the most wonderful thing was the buffet: every day featured special and delicious dishes.
I would like to send a special thanks to the amazing Tunisian team — Tuka, Fatma, and Ahmed.

The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

Our stay at Porto Ghalib was truly enjoyable. The location is beautiful with direct access to the marina and a stunning beach. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food offered a good variety every day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The snorkeling experience was amazing we even saw sea turtles, which made our trip unforgettable. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely come back again.

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second.
We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited.
I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.)
It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels.
Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

The sea was beautiful.
The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

Beach area we were in wasn't the greatest,no swimming area ,too shallow and rocky not sandy.Took quad ride out in desert was fun.Lots of fish to see on reefs,water very clean.marss Mubarak has resident dugong and turtles but didn't see the dugong on our visit.Overall nice place ,a bit on the windy side but nice relief from heat.

There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen. I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t like. Mainly, I noticed that someone bought a quad bike tour, and they were taken just a little way behind the hotel to ride on a pile of sand for a short while. There was trash and plastic all around, a complete wasteland—nothing pretty. I’m used to greenery, which I understand is lacking in this destination, but I definitely wouldn’t buy an overpriced camel or quad bike tour. Especially because, in that heat, it wouldn’t be an enjoyable experience for me, and with the trash around, definitely not. I did a diving trip, but it ended up being canceled. Unfortunately, they made us leave our things (like backpacks) in a place where locals were moving around, and we had no way to secure them. The original plan was that we would be on a boat. In the end, it didn’t happen, and that was probably for the best. I booked the trip through Booking. I had no particular expectations, even though we were supposed to see dolphins. Eventually, I arranged for diving, and I enjoyed it. Since I’m already a diver, it was easy, but when I saw how they even turn diving into a business, it bothered me. I saw parents forcing their 12-year-old daughter to try diving. She was crying, didn’t want to do it, but the father insisted because it was paid for. I watched her struggle and feel uncomfortable. It saddens me to see that everything can be bought with money, and that’s just wrong.

The place is small but pretty, with nice bars and restaurants and lots of opportunities for excursions. The restaurants offer good food, but it's a bit expensive for Egypt; you can tell that tourists are expected to pay more than usual.
