Beautiful place in the nature, beautiful house, delicious food, very typical. Everything is done for the customer to feel warmly welcome, relaxed and happy.

Fabulous property in an idilic spot. Far exceeded our expectations. We made the mistake of not checking in before our arrival but a quick phone call soon had a that resolved. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Ainara, the hotel “manager” provided us with excellent recommendations of places to visit and restaurants. This was definitely a relaxing and wonderful stay and we would love to come back.

This impressive castle is located in Gautegiz Arteaga, in the Basque Country’s Urdaibai Nature Reserve. It offers a gourmet restaurant with a roof terrace boasting fantastic countryside views.

Fantastic Castillo, we booked an amazing room in one of the turrets which was super warm and comfortable, terrific hot shower in gorgeous bathroom, fabulous food and wonderful staff, easy secure parking .. we loved it! A very special place to stay ♥️

The team in the hotel and the owner were gentle, lovely and supportive people. The breakfast was delicious and included the possibility to have plant milk that is often difficult with allergies. Gluten free cereal was also available. We also order a parking space for our car. In the evening the hotel also offered a pizza kitxhen and in the afternoon ice cream, so that all of our needs were catered for. Being right near the main city square, we also were able to participate in the local markets, folkloric entertainment, and other music fetes. By the time we left, we felt that we were almost locals.
