Exceptional stay in the heart of the Pyrenees! We absolutely loved our time at Angelats Hotel. The property is stunning, full of history and charm, with breathtaking mountain views and beautiful surroundings. Diego and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and decorated with great taste. Breakfast and dinner at La Santa were a highlight: delicious, creative, and beautifully presented. Perfect place for a relaxing and romantic getaway. Highly recommend!

The room was very comfortable, nice bath. I loved the jacuzzi and the restaurant was very good. The staff were kind and helpful and very accommodating to pets. It is very close to the Vall de Nuria train which was great.

We arrived a few hours before we could check in, and asked if we could leave our bags there while we went out. The lady behind the desk made a couple of phone calls, and after checking our ID handed us the keys to our room. Our room was clean and so was the private bathroom as well.

Set in a stunning, mountain landscape, Hotel Prats is located in Ribes de Freser, northern Catalonia, on the edge of the Spanish Pyrenees. Prats boasts fantastic views of the mountains and rivers.

This is a jewell of a place! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not luxurious, the room and bathroom was a bit dated, as is the whole place, we don’t mind that and everything is spotlessly clean and functional. The location is perfect: on the main street but set back from the road with room for a carpark and the restaurant/bar terrace. There is very much a ski chalet feel about the front of the hotel. The large Plane trees on the roadside keep the whole place nice and cool in the summer without it feeling dark and I couldn’t ask for a better terrace to sit out drinking on a hot afternoon. Reception was super friendly and familial. The older man was very helpful with my rubbish Spanish and the younger guy was eager to practice his very passable English, all done with smiles and laughter. I wish I could tell you their names. A vast difference from our later experience in the hotel along the road!! We had a very chilled hour on the terrace with a cold beer before a cool siesta followed by a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We stayed here on our way to Barcelona from our home in France. Sadly it was fully booked for our return trip.
