Outstanding location, just in the heart of the old city Casco Viejo. Most of attractions are reachable by foot. Famous Plaza Nueva with plenty of places to enjoy delicious Pinxos is just around the corner. The coffee shop-Internet cafe in the lobby is very welcoming, the carrot cake is highly recommended. The room is very clean, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Staff is very friendly.

I was here in 2020 in full Covid-19 period, and I’ll always remember the staff’s professionalism and friendliness in very uncommon and difficult circumstances at that time. The hotel is a real gem in lovely old buildings exquisitely renovated and so tastefully furnished. It has really welcoming public areas and the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and we enjoyed being able to eat a light evening meal in the bar there. Our room was lovely and spacious and the hotel is in a quiet area with plenty of secure parking. It is only a 10 minute walk to the heart of Lekeitio with its lovely old streets and charming port area. We would love to come back and spend more time in this hotel and this area.

Close enough to train station to easily walk, right on the edge of old town.Breakfast buffet was good for the days that we didn't feel like braving the weather to go out, but great places to eat practically right outside the doors as well.

Great location, short trip to Ferry, Very good wifi in room, Max Centre very close for fast food, secure parking for my motorcycle from 11pm to 8am, I still recommend to use locks on your motorcycle like every other hotel. Friendly staff and easy checkin, Bar, breakfast cost 10 euro and well worth it. Room was quiet and large enough for solo or couple.

The beaches and harbour were lovely.

The beaches and harbour were lovely. It is well worth taking the gondola across the water to the local cafes and old town area. The promenade is long and makes wonderful walking by the sea. There are all kinds of games and water sports available. Getxo is a Spanish resort. Bars in town offer snacks (pintxo) with beer/wine etc. Restaurants are on the promenade reached by lift. Very little English is spoken except in the restaurants on the promenade.

Bermeo's main attraction is the harbour area where all the bars & restaurants are located and few steps walk up and you can see everything Bermeo has to offer. The part of Bermeo away from the harbour is mainly residential with tall towers, which we can say is the new extended Bermeo

The accommodation was very very good. Clean and Iban the host was super helpful the whole time he came to meet us personally and showed the whole apartment which was the best I've seen in a long time. The asked me if I needed help with anything in the town. We had a little problem and he personally offered all the assistance we could ask from out of hospital own goodness. I will be booking this apartment yearly going forward a really good time and made better by a great accommodation and Host

Small town within reach easily of the ferry about 11 minutes to ferry from hotel. Friendly helpful people rooms very clean and warm. This part of Spain is very Green lots of trees reminds me of Wales and also buildings are French oriented some like in ski resorts very lovely countryside.

It’s really an awful place.

It’s really an awful place. I don’t see any good reason to stay there besides work commitments and/or the need to find a cheaper option than staying in Bilbao. In the evening there’s no place around that offers food at normal times, they’re either closed or open only for drinking. I ended up at a Domino’s Pizza after a couple of wasted hours looking for a proper restaurant, on a Sunday evening.

The Museo de la Paz is impressive, a visit there cannot miss during the trip. For dinner it is necessary to book a tablet in advance, as per all the cities in the Basque Country. With the Eusko train you can reach in 30 minutes some villages on the coast such as Mundaka and Bermeo, very beautiful places. You can buy the Barik card to travel at a very low price on all kind of public transport in Bizkaya.
