I truly recommend it! also you have shuttle to Courchevel 1850 even at late evening . and also lift but you need to walk about 10 min there and it is open until 23 45 . ski room is good enough but the boxes are not closed with the key . but you have ski in and out

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! I found it in one of the best locations in the beautiful city of Annecy — it was literally steps away from the center of the city. It was well situated as it was walking distance to all the major shops and must see attractions. The staff was also very kind and hospitable; they took their time to guide me as far as suggesting their own personal recommendations and directions. The hotel itself was incredibly beautiful and very unique — everywhere you looked there was intricate artwork. I felt as though I time traveled as it was very art deco and cool. The room also was very cozy and clean. Had I had time, I would have extended but will definitely stay again

They never ask for credit cards to block our money, or pay deposit, although , we had our dinner in the 3 stars Mechlin restaurant and the cost was over 600 €, no one asks us to sign anything, all was charged to the room, professional staff, they spot what you like and what you don’t, like our drinks on the breakfast for the next day, they pay attention for the details. 2- They granted us gifts, desserts, cakes, with a nice message left on the table informing us that there is a gift for us in the mini bar. 3- so friendly staff, we love everything from the moment we checked in, to the moment we check out, also a gift from the garden upon our check out. Amazing hotel, last but not least the location was wonderful, our room was Mountain View, Definitely would come back again

Last time the room with a balcony facing to Mont -blanc with the best view of Mont-blanc and Chamonix Centre…this time is another room other view… Like the spa with beautiful design and relax…like on the top floor the breakfast restaurant nice design with panoramic views of Mont-Blanc…so fantastic! And thanks all the reception girls and boys all very friendly and dynamic! Makes the trip more enjoyable

Imperial Palace is the best hotel I have stayed at my France trip this time. We traveled in France for 19 days, from Paris, to Mount Saint Michel, to Central Lories Chateau area, then to Lyon, Marselle, Annecy, back to Paris. We are more satisfied with Imperial Palace than Paris Hilton Opera, not to mention the other hotels. The lake was beautiful, town was gorgeous, service is friendly, everything left us a beautiful memory. We'll stay in Imperial Palace again, if we will visit Annecy in the future.

The Hotel is located in a beautiful location, with breathtaking views of the lake. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. We had a problem with our rental car and it had to be toed. The gentlemen at the reception did everything in his power to assist us, called the company, arranged everything and even gave us a ride to the shop. We had and amazing stay.

Fantastic place full of atmosphere. Old building beautifully restored in a unique place in front of the lake. A very nice spa area and a room that was big and comfortable. Lovely little lakeside and mountainside town with beautiful historic charm and plenty of delicious spots to eat and drink local goods. We were concerned after many people told us about all the lovely flowers we’d be missing going in November. But fall really put on a show with the colors and surrounding views. The biggest issue was that many places were closed or had very limited hours. But we understand and did the best we could. It meant the crowds weren’t there, so we were able to meander and enjoy stopping in to eat at great spots without reservations.

We really enjoyed Grenoble.

We really enjoyed Grenoble. It is a nice friendly city with good transport. We visited the art gallery and the cable car. The scenery is stunning. We were only there two days but with more time would have ventured out of the city into the countryside. We would recommend the Belle Idée restaurant. After Grenoble we went to Aix. The first part of our journey was on a beautiful little train from Grenoble towards Gap. This went through the Alps and this journey was amazing. Well worth doing.

Interesting town with cultural heritage.

Interesting town with cultural heritage. I was just passing through en route from Italy to London but it is a perfect stopover for one night. Unfortunately I was there on a Monday, when some attractions eg the castle are closed but I did visit the cathedral. There are many restaurants which sell local produce.

Aix-les-Bains is a very pleasant town on the shores of the biggest lake in France: Lake Bouget. There are lots of restaurants and places to visit including a Casino, mountains and water sports. If you can, we recommend you try the boat cruse around the lake and include a meal on board.

Many stores appeared permanently closed, and the town lacked any real atmosphere after early evening—by 10pm, only the casino restaurant was still serving food. This left few options for late dining or entertainment. Given these circumstances and the general sense of a closed-up town, I would not recommend visiting Evian-les-Bains, especially if you're expecting a lively lakeside resort experience. While some guides and official tourism pages highlight Evian's attractive lakefront, Belle Époque architecture, and potential activities along the lake and nearby outdoors, recent firsthand accounts confirm a lack of vibrancy and operational businesses, even in traditionally busy months. For travelers who prioritize a bustling atmosphere and broad dining options long into the evening, it may be better to look elsewhere.

Gap is a lovely place, but I would never - ever - recommend the Hôtel Restaurant Pavillon Carina to ANYONE. It is almost 4 weeks since they ruined our overnight stay there and we had to find emergency accommodation elsewhere. We are still waiting for full compensation and refund and neither they or Booking.com have been any help WHATSOEVER.

Fantastic walking around the old town and canals.

Fantastic walking around the old town and canals. Cycling around the lake was lovely. Plenty of places to hire a bike. The markets on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday are interesting. Great to pick up some fresh produce. Restaurants are plentiful. Good to try the local specialties.
