- From US$114.66 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,236 reviewsAmazingly wonderful hotel right in the heart of the small town. Our room overlooked the valley with spectacular views, the room was very large, very clean and had everything we needed. The restaurant at the hotel was really lovely food with a good selection and not too expensive. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal and well worth the money! It was quite literally the best breakfast we had in all of France! And the building had a small lift just enough to fit your suitcases - my husband appreciated not having to carry them up the stairs yet again…. The check in and out staff were really helpful and spoke fantastic English. For some reason the hotel is rated on the site as 3 star - not sure why. Everything was so lovely that it should be rated 4.5 stars!Guest review byAlisonAustralia

I know you are unique property in this area. I would just recommend to show more empathy, respect whatever their background, age, external appearance even you are "spoiled" with the wealthier guests. This town is a gem - the real France and away from the tourist beat. Its cathedral is unique and exceptionally old. A little French is a help here. Very good and inexpensive restaurants. Take the Little tour train for a great orientation.Guest review byTarr-Whelan - 10.0
Great little quaint hotel, absolutely charming.
Great little quaint hotel, absolutely charming. Walk across the street, you have a little church worth seeing. You can see the castle from the little plaza next to the restaurant. Within walking distance to the castle. Everything there was enchanting. The hosts were perfectly welcoming, friendly, helpful. DO NOT MISS the breakfast. It is well worth it. Good local products, ham, eggs. Pains et croissants bien croustillants. Highly recommend!!Guest review byDevy KUnited States - 10.0
Where we stayed was a restored castle.
Where we stayed was a restored castle. It was wonderful inside. The staff were very helpful. The part of town we stayed in was quaint and very walkable. I would have loved to stay longer. We ate at a small Crepery that was right around the corner. You have to be there early and make reservations. We did it online and almost didn't get in. The food was good.Guest review byBrendaUnited States - 6.0
We visited Gramat in the spring and the weather was dull.
We visited Gramat in the spring and the weather was dull. The town appeared run down in areas with not much going for it. There were some good restaurants. The animal park is worth a visit. The aqua park didn’t have clear information about opening times. Close enough for other attractions and towns to visit. Rocamadour is close by. Plage de Gluges 15/20 minutes. Carannac Aventure for canoë and paddle board hire with a lovely crazy golf and snack bar 20 minutes.Guest review bySACUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beautiful room and terrace opening on to vineyard, with view across to Saint Cirq la Popie. Perfect 4 day stay spent relaxing by the pool, in the vineyard, or day tripping. Alvignac is pretty in itself and it's situation between Rocamadour and the Gouffres du Padirac is perfect. Plus there are many other beautiful towns and villages to explore in the region. Our holiday was too short and we will have to return!Guest review byDavinaFrance - 8.0
Cahors is a nice little city.
Cahors is a nice little city. There isn't much spectacular to see or do, but it kept me busy for a day. The medieval bridge is nice, the cathedral was worth a visit, and it's nice to walk next to the river that encircles the city. Keep in mind, on Sundays, nearly everything is closed. Even finding a restaurant for dinner was a struggle. I wonder if the locals even eat on a Sunday...Guest review byPeterBelgium - 10.0

Excellent Michelin restaurant Beau Site offered juicy lamb cut for Euro 34 and cod loin for euro 19. Service was also first class, balcony view was to die for.
