GermanyThe quality of the food in the restaurant was very good. The restaurant manager went out of her way to make up for a mistake the waiter made during a very busy Saturday evening dinner rush. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name but she was really friendly and approached us proactively when she became aware that there was a problem. I was very happy about the professional and courteous way she handled the issue. All of the staff at this hotel were very friendly, including the security staff outside the main entrance. Very professional and willing to assist. I can highly recommend this hotel.
The pool is also a great plus for this hotel and the hotel premises are very clean.

The pod it's self is beautiful, perfect for couples, going with a friend or even just yourself. Colleen was a great host. You don't have to bring much with you as she has got you covered. I definitely recommend getting the treat box!!

Room was spacious and comfortable bed at least for me. I appreciated a possibility for late arrival. Breakfast was excellent - I also liked the tick-box sheet for ordering the breakfast on previous evening. That efficiently reduces the food waste. My room was in top floor, and stairs are quite steep. Not a problem at all for me, but worth knowing. The area is quiet, and view from room or breakfast area was very relaxing. The little town Camlough we stayed in was really lovely and you can walk around it's shops easily as they are close together. Great variety of places to eat and a large nisa extra convenient store. Being a coffee lover, I never seen as many signs advertising coffee available along our traveling route it was amazing but such a tease as you can't be having coffee pit stops every 5 minutes or my partner would just leave me out by one of the coffee trailers for the whole day by myself lol.Guest review byNoeleen - 10.0

As I grew up there I can't quite see it as a holiday place. However it has pleasant countryside round it. for car travellers it is close to Lough Neagh and the City of Armagh an the countryside round it. There are good restaurants and pleasant coffee shops. Our room really was so cosy and loved the Xmas tree but there was only a large sofa and one chair. Not really enough for 6 people, a few had to sit on stools. We couldn't get the heating to work so couldn't get hot water to wash or do dishes. The one hot tub was for everyone which at that time was about 15 people so we couldn't use it. Honesty bar was great even though the lager barrel was empty. The top bunk was a little on the dangerous side as was mezzanine but did not have a side rail. Very quiet and clean.
Very quiet and clean. A nice pub called Sheils in the centre of Tassagh offered good food and had friendly staff. There was a good atmosphere the evening we were there. Would definitely recommend it. Newry is my home town with only 3 hotels in the vicinity and a handful of apartments. I stayed at The Beeches, a superb addition to the apartments on here. Newry is a compact city with a good range of restaurants and shopping centres. The location and Hotel is lovely and relaxing, breakfast excellent, staff lovely. Only problem I find is the noise of the traffic constantly going by outside when you have a room to the front of hotel. We only stayed in Portadown because it was convenient, Daughter had a singing exam and we were heading to Banbridge the next day, but we had a very enjoyable walk through the town, browsing in the shops, we ate in Greggs which was lovely and the staff were very kind.
