The service is excellent, they make you feel right at home. The facilities are very cozy, and the location is perfect: it's quiet and not crowded, as it’s close to Windsor Castle. The room is spacious, and a big plus is that it includes a bathtub. Breakfast is really good: very complete, with plenty of delicious options. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

We didn't visit Reading.

We didn't visit Reading. We went a day before and a night after to Hanley-on-Thames with children. It was hardly 20-25 minutes drive and it was great outdoor activities combo area with various playground/ bouncy castle and riverside walk, various options available for boat hiring/ boat trips. Parking is quite tight in later hours of day, so I recommend if anyone like to visit here, try to reach in first half otherwise all two car parks get full too soon.

Windsor Castle along with the other Royal Palaces was overpriced and the goods in their shops were the same. The audio equipment didn’t work well for someone who wears hearing aids and I couldn’t increase the sound. We were astounded to find that we had to purchase a castle ticket to visit my relative's statue in St George’s Chapel. Then I wasn’t allowed to photograph him. The town is pretty and Eton is too. Plenty of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. Don’t waste your money on the Bus Tour.

This hotel is actually very close to Heathrow airport so not really in Slough. I did drive through Slough but nothing I saw would make me want to specifically visit this town. The attractions shown are not actually in Slough.

I love bracknell because of its lovely shopping centre. The fact that it's quiet and peaceful. It's close to Ascot which is a place I love. It's a train ride away from the heart of london, in less than an hour you're there. There are some lovely park there. I thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

It would have been helpful for the restaurant to have sent the account to reception for checkout. We asked if there was anything left to pay and were told it was settled via booking.com. Perhaps if we had been asked for a credit card at check-in rather then we would not have been chased for payment of the meal some days later. Despite this - the food and hotel stay were great
