- From $163.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 5.6Fair - What previous guests thought, 990 reviewsPerfect location on the west highland way and right on the river too so the atmosphere in the camp ground was just lovely. Far enough away from the hotel that we could get to bed early and not hear a thing from the bar/restaurant too. A fair number of people around but still no queues for facilities like the shower or kitchen area. Staff were really friendly and helpful, even let us have our table in the restaurant early which was very much appreciated.Guest review byCatherineUnited Kingdom
- From $466.48 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 619 reviewsThe location - view from the sitting room and decking was breathtaking, our son loved the hot tub outside on the decking area. Even though we had a self catering lodge we also used the hotels restaurant several times which served excellent food with stunning views of the loch - prices are reasonable - staff were extremely friendly and approachable.Guest review byWilliamThailand
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 838 reviewsThe hot tub in the room is great after a hard day hiking. We also enjoyed the no-sulfaths, no parabens natural products that were provided in the room, exactly the same as we have at home. Very confortable super king or bigger bed.Guest review byMikiFrance

Stunning scenery and an interesting visitor center although we would have liked more information about how the people lived here in times gone by and about the Glencoe massacre. There was also a clear lack of toilets for the number of people visiting and the gift shop was more expensive than others we've been too. A walk around nearby Bllaculish and the remains of the quarry also added a little interest to the area. The gift shop had a range of items from cards to childrens toys to souvenirs that seemed a little more reasonably priced.Guest review byFrancesIreland - 10.0
Superb.
Superb. Couldn't have asked for a lovelier accommodation-the view was spectacular, the facilities were amazing, place was cosy, comfortable with all creature comforts & carpark-just a few minutes walk away from waterfall, supermarket, river, etc. Wished we could have stayed longer. Fully recommend it!Guest review byKarenMalaysia - 10.0

We had a fantastic stay at Ballachulish House! The property is absolutely beautiful, and our rooms were charming and well-maintained. The location was perfect, offering stunning views of the lake, ample privacy, and the convenience of parking and the well maintained kitchen. We especially loved the thoughtful and cute décor, which added to the warm and cozy atmosphere. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more special. As a family, we want to express our immense gratitude for their hospitality and for making our holiday so memorable. We would love to return in the future and highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque getaway!Guest review byMohiUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Kinlochmore (aka Kinlochleven - the same place give or take a bridge), has an interesting industrial history as well as nestling in the footsteps of Ben Nevis and at the top end of Loch Leven. Watching others on the rapids of the River Leven was fun. Co-op was well stocked and good for lunches. Also a stopping point on the West Highland Way.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I loved passing through Glencoe for sightseeing from the car, catching a sunset on an evening hike. The parking in Glencoe is very limited so makes it annoying, but it is beautiful I would only pass through...Guest review byStephanieUnited States - 10.0

I went in Glencoe to visit the Glenfinnian Viaduct, well known for Harry Potter's films. Obviously the trail was not in loneliness because is very famous but when I took a look around I noticed many path and trail that I could do and I was sorry to not stay more time over there. Highlans are Highlands an take a bit of time to travel around them.Guest review byMonicaItaly - 8.0

Glencoe has a very small downtown, but the real draw is the beautiful country side surrounding it which is absolutely stunning. We would recommend a visit to the Glencoe visitor center which has a nice cafe, shop and a movie room which is worth attending (20 minute video on Glencoe and its fascinating history) - a great primer for your subsequent explorations of the beautiful countryside.Guest review bySorayaUnited States - 8.0

We found the restaurants such as Moss and the Lochleven Seafood Cafe of a very high standard, everything was close by and the pod accommodation was fun and so well designed for comfort. Even the lady at the petrol station was lovely and jokey. The breakfast at the craft centre was good value and excellent for gifts to take home. It was our first time at Ballachulish, but it wont be our last. Perfect for a weekend get away and ideally suited for longer stays too as the area is spectacular.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom
