Such a special place, located on a scenic small harbor right under a medieval castle. The charming owners could not be more warm and welcoming, and the staff all seem to make an extra effort to give personal attention to guests’ needs. (Thank you Nina for ensuring we had a great visit!) The room is tastefully appointed, bedding is very comfortable and robes are provided. The included breakfast is incredible and we enjoyed the restaurant for dinner. Savoring a drink in the sun on the patio at the end of a day of sightseeing is a great way to relax. We hope to return.

The hotel stands in its own grounds and has a good size pool and area for lounging on a warm sunny day. The room was spacious, well appointed, quiet and very comfortable.     The restaurant is phenomenal. Fresh ingredients and unexpected dishes. An innovative menu compared to a lot of the hotels in Jersey. We truly enjoyed the lunch selection and that it was open throughout the day. The spa is simply the best in Jersey. As soon as I walk through the spa doors, I feel lighter.

    Frustrating having to find our way around the town, sign...

    Frustrating having to find our way around the town, sign posts were either non existent or difficult to find. The island is not suitable to bring a car along as there are already too many cars on the road and parking is not easy in a busy town. The bus station, which we also found hard to find, is great but not enough buses running during the busy holiday period. If you are interested in military history this is the place for you, the history of the occupation during WW2 was fascinating.

    What a lovely place to visit and stay! Lovely beachfront promenade which was both walking and cycling friendly. Wonderful cafes/restaurants along the walkway, which caters for different food choices.

    The area of St Clements is lovely, great sandy beaches with free parking and clean public conveniences, and a few lovely pubs to eat at. Small supermarkets (Morrisons and Co-op) are also around and are open late. Easy access to the rest of the island without going through St Helier, if driving, and frequent buses to St Helier or Grouville.

    We had the castle behind us and the harbour in front of us which we were able to see from our room. The castle was worth a visit and the harbour and sea coming in and out was pleasant to view with a glass in your hand. Easy access to all over the island,we like history so were able to see the war tunnels and museum. I think we were staying in the right place,away from the hustle and bustle of the capital and other busy places.

    What an absolute hidden gem of a place! Plenty of quality walks from that location. It is quite quiet though so if you want somewhere 'vibrant' then you would be better off in St Helier but if you want quality and a quieter stay then this is the place for you.

    Jersey is not very big, but all the parishes have something to offer. St Saviour is on the East side of the island and close to St Helier town centre. Several good hotels and eating places. There is a Howard Davis Park, the War Tunnels, St Saviours Church, and the Hotel de Normandie has an Ayurvedic Spa, has several schools/colleges, and its famous people like Lillie Langtry (1853–1929), British-American socialite, actress and producer from St Saviour.

    There is a huge and lovely beach here.

    There is a huge and lovely beach here. The area is good for swimming/surfing and it is not too busy. There are lifeguards on a southern section of the beach. We spent a week on Jersey but we could easily have enjoyed a couple of weeks as, beyond the beach itself, there is miles of easily accessible coastline to walk and explore.

    Great place to stay, picturesque, quaint, very 'chocolate box'. Fab if you like that sort of thing, I guess. It is a little off the beaten track but again, that's probably a plus. Not much choice for eating and what is there, apart from the 'Hungry Man' cafe, is not cheap. Could do with a general stores perhaps?

    Lots of sites to visit within easy walking distance of the harbour. The Georgian House, Maritime Museum and Elizabeth Castle were all fabulous places to visit. We enjoyed our ride on Le Petit Train to St Aubin's Bay and back. We found fabulous cafes - our favourite was Cafe Paraiso. Our favourite restaurant was The Rigatoni. The bus service to visit different parts of the island was absolutely excellent. The Jersey War Tunnels were fascinating and very moving - a short bus ride from the bus station.
