Superb Landscapes and Thriving Cities
Situated on the green island of Ireland, Northern Ireland is a land of fascinating history and magnificent landscapes. From stunning coastline and vast mountains to lively cities, Northern Ireland has more than enough tempting attractions.
Birthplace of the legendary Titanic, Belfast is the region’s vibrant capital and 2nd largest city on the island. Recovering after more than 30 years of the Troubles, it is a popular city-break destination with a thriving nightlife, fascinating mural tours and great restaurants.
North-west from Belfast is Londonderry, also known as Derry, a modern city awarded with the UK City of Culture 2013 title and well-known for its intact medieval city walls. Nearby you can find Coleraine, a 20-minute drive from the world-renowned Giant’s Causeway, one of Northern Ireland’s major tourist attractions.
A visit to a small village of Bushmills, 15 km from Coleraine, and the world’s oldest distillery is a must for all Irish whiskey fans. For more outdoorsy types, Northern Ireland has plenty to offer: breathtaking views, steep rocky cliffs and turquoise sea, all part of its awe-inspiring North Coast. Further inland, you can come across waterfalls, historic castles and eerie ruins.

- From US$252.57 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,335 reviewsThe hotel is situated within extensive grounds incorporating a golf course and lakes. Beautiful walks are available. The hotel itself is lovely with some very interesting antique features. All the staff are very well trained and your comfort and happiness appears to be their main ethos. The 5 course dinner in Catalina restaurant was really delicious and a most enjoyable evening. I know some have complained about the length of time it took but to be honest, if i am paying that amount of money for a dinner, i certainly dont want to be rushed. It was fine dining at its best. The waiting staff were extremely efficient, giving detailed descriptions of each dish they served. Breakfast was delicious. The dining room was very well managed and i regret not getting the ladies name who dealt with all the reservations and table allocations. She was extremely efficient and very friendly too. You can eat from the extensive buffet breakfast or you can order breakfast from the menu, which is then cooked to order. The waiting staff were extremely efficient and a recognition for exemplary service goes to Katie who looked after us on both mornings.Guest review byMarianIreland

Very comfortable stay on the 8th floor in an executive room. Stayed many times in Belfast previously but this was our first stay at the Europa. The hotel's atmosphere is one of serenity and opulence. Loved late night cocktails in the piano lounge which one of the staff shrewdly commented was our living room for our stay. Marvellous.Guest review byJOHNFrance

The walled city is an interesting visit, but not for the fainthearted. It is possible to walk around the entire perimeter, but it is not all accessible to wheelchair users, and there are some steep inclines and steps. The historical information boards at key points around the wall give a fascinating insight into the cities history.Guest review bySue DUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The area has many beautiful sites and walks which would have been enjoyable in better weather. The Geological Park is worth exploring. The Catholic Church in Irvinetown has an incredible display of carved wooden statues. The detail is amazing.Guest review byAnnUnited States - 10.0

It is a small town but a great point for visiting the Mourne mountains and beaches. Some individual gift and clothes boutiques. Good choice of restaurants and cafes. We also drove to Banbridge for the cinema at the outlet stores I go for the peace and quiet in September as not so many holiday makers then.Guest review byJayneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Such a special area. There is so much to see and do. Cutest little shops. Nature and Natural beauty is everywhere. You are practically tripping over the next inspiring view point. I was so happy the whole time we were there. Pubs, Beaches, Nature, People watching, We were there in the Autumn. It was easy to get parking. I can see that this area would be very popular. Loads of golf around. I am not into that but all the green adds to the beauty of the area.Guest review byKathrynUnited Kingdom - 8.0

There are some well-known spots worth visiting, like the Giant’s Causeway — though maybe a bit overrated. Let’s say it’s a must for first-time visitors. A really positive and unexpected surprise was visiting Belfast and the Titanic Experience — we really enjoyed it!Guest review byMauroItaly - 10.0

We wanted a quiet break with good amenities which we found in plenty. We walked along the beach before breakfast each morning and even saw a small pod of Dolphins - superb. With regard to eating, avoid the Marine Hotel! The Diamond Restaurant and Fish and Chips by the Harbour were excellentGuest review byJANETUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The little town Camlough we stayed in was really lovely and you can walk around it's shops easily as they are close together. Great variety of places to eat and a large nisa extra convenient store. Being a coffee lover, I never seen as many signs advertising coffee available along our traveling route it was amazing but such a tease as you can't be having coffee pit stops every 5 minutes or my partner would just leave me out by one of the coffee trailers for the whole day by myself lol.Guest review byNoeleen - 10.0
