A warm welcome always awaits at the Grandtully. This is our 3rd visit, to celebrate another birthday. We just love everything about this hotel, the tasteful decor, the food, the staff, we arrived in the midst of Storm Babet, and late for our dinner reservation and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. After a 4 hour journey we were ready for a good meal, the food is incredible, the menu is seasonal and all the ingredients locally sourced. With only 8 rooms this place is very special with wonderful friendly staff and personal service.

If you are looking for peace and serenity, this is your place. Dunfallandy House is a charming country manor surrounded with small forest and farm fields.. Situated just a short walk from the town center, it provides a peaceful retreat with easy access to local attractions. Hosts go to extraordinary lengths to make you feel at home. A Truly Enchanting Stay I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this wonderful property yesterday, and I only wish I had booked for longer! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome that made me feel instantly at home. The property itself is enchanting—beautifully maintained, thoughtfully designed, and full of charm. Every detail seemed curated to create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. What truly stood out to me, though, was the comfort of the room. I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time, thanks to the incredibly cozy bed and peaceful surroundings. It was exactly the rejuvenating experience I needed. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I am already looking forward to my next visit and will be sure to stay longer next time! Sincerely, Violette Marie Jane Gerard

I stayed at this hotel in Pitlochry for a couple o days and it was absolutely perfect. The location is ideal – surrounded by the beautiful Scottish countryside with stunning views of the hills, and just a short walk from the town centre. The room was cozy, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to offer advice on what to see and do in the area. The traditional Scottish breakfast served each morning was generous and delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in the Highlands. I’ll definitely be back!

Picturesque property along the lake, with beautiful views and a cozy/comfortable setting overall. Rooms were very spacious and luxurious while the facilities in the property added to the old world charm. They even offer a complimentary pickup & drop from the train station. It is also very easy getting in and out of Pitlochry City by foot and comfortable connectivity to nearby towns & Aberfeldy distillery if you have a car.

Although I now live just South of the border between Scotland and England, Perthshire is home. I was born and grew up around Loch Tay, Kenmore and Aberfeldy and worked in Perth for 20 years. Who wouldn't love Perth and Perthshire with it's beautiful lush verdant scenes and wonderful loch, mountain and river scapes. Fabulous! I miss it so much when I am not there.

Property was fabulous. Lovely rooms and staff. Breakfast was the best with lots of options. Dinner needs changing up with specials for dinner and dessert. Was same menu every day. Room was a bit stuffy. Need portable fans. We had a window that opened but did not really help. Swimming pool and spa was lovely. Staff was amazing. Shout out to Annia who found a tick on my leg during a massage. No idea wher it came from as i stayed on the path.

I have passed through Blairgowrie many times, usually on my way to Braemar or the Cairngorms. So on a four day short break we were pleasantly surprised what a beautifully kept town it is. There are loads of small to medium walks around and in the town. It has an interesting history. It's full of small shops yet has all the modern convenience of three supermarkets sited inconspicously but within easy reach. Many takeaways offer chinese, indian,spanish/mexican and of course the ubiquitous fish & chip shop. There are a number of dine in restaurants. Our hosts at the Elricht Holiday Lodges were welcoming and even supplied the muscle to get my car out of a pickle of my own making. The locals are warm and friendly. I have never rated a holiday and its location as a 10, so this is a first!

Most liked the beautiful situation so close to the loch, also loved the isolation from other visitors. The little village of Killin was very useful for food and shopping, also pubs, the waterfalls there are fantastic. This time of year was extra beautiful with autumn colours just starting to show. We managed to visit Sterling Castle, also Oban, two good day trips about 1 - 1.5 hours from the cottage. Had lovely meals at The Ferryman, at the other end of the loch. In all a handy place to stay and great for 2 people who want peace and quiet.
