If you want to be treated like royalty and get the best value for your money, come to the White Horse. It was my husband's birthday, but I never hoped that staying in a hotel could make this day so special. Needless to say that the hotel itself is magnificent, the room was fantastic, very beautiful and comfortable etc. But it's the staff's work and the management's choices that make this place stand out. At the pub's restaurant we were served delightful and adventurous (and very moderately priced) 100% vegan food (vegan English pie!!!) coupled with two free glasses of Prosecco for the occasion (they kindly replaced them with drinks of our choice since we don't drink), which made our evening. The room was full of charm, had a lot of treats for the evening tea and a hand-written card, and in general the hotel kept pleasantly surprising us at every corner. The full English breakfast was also adapted for our vegan needs. I'm looking forward to coming back and giving my parents-in-law a gift stay as well, because after our visit I can be sure to recommend this place to the most special people and be sure they will have the time of their lives here. Thank you for making my husband and me so happy on his special day!

I loved this place!! It is super cosy, the design is really stylish. Also the food is really good. It is just a lovely English Inn. Will defenitly come back.

Thanks for your Stay the service was amazing breakfast is was okay same same every day. The bed linen and the towels are amazing. The only thing is that the Sash Windows on 310 do not go up and Stay we had to put the rubbish in there to hold them open that is okay just to let you know repair job for that. Look forward to coming back again a great experience for us coming from New Zealand to visit England

Because of a plane arriving much later into Gatwick than planned , I arrived at the hotel after closing hours . I had already contacted them to say that there was this possibility but it was not a problem and they advised me that the key would be in the door of my booked room .much appreciated after a long journey.

I booked for my family to go and they could not stop complimenting the food! Both dinner and breakfast were some of the tastiest meals they've had with the ingredients all bursting with fresh flavours. The staff were attentive throughout. The afternoon tea was spectacular too!
