We very much enjoyed the homey atmosphere of the Lister Arms. The food was delicious, the included breakfast quite filling-perfect for a full day of hiking. We felt very spoiled by the king sized bed, and it was very appreciated for a restful night. We loved the hikes around Malham and not having to worry about driving or parking, so the location was excellent. The pub had 4 choices of non-alcoholic beer: for those who don't drink, that's a great and rare offering!

It is a beautiful place with incredible facilities for being in such a small community seemingly far from any busy town. The staff was very kind and friendly and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and served by fun guys and gals. It was clean and comfortable and I'd definitely go back. Thank you!

Ideal for walking and locals so friendly. Enjoyed day trips to Ripon and Harrogate. Quiet village apart from accommodation being next to village fuel station. We liked Sedbergh very much, people were friendly & although well into autumn when we went, still plenty of pleasant walks to do. We saw pheasant’s, woodpecker, Heron, red squirrel whilst out on our walks. Lots of Owls hooting at night. Good cafes & pubs for nice food. We particularly liked The Dalsman pub. The Thirsty Rambler was a good place for a stop off. Fairfield Mill one to visit whilst in the area too.
