It’s located off a highway so you don’t have the hustle and bustle of people outside, but there’s a mall right across the street you could walk to if you wanted. I’d recommend using Bolt. The staff are absolutely exceptional! They are far superior to anywhere I have stayed abroad before. They are kind, welcoming, and go above and beyond for every need. Adena was so gracious she even spent a short time getting to know me and helped me source something I had come specifically to Kumasi to find! She saved me so much time and was the catalyst for my success in this endeavor. She is the best. The food there was so good as well! I had room service and it was worth every cédi. It was so good and generous portions. The breakfast as well was brought to the room and has everything you could want. This place has no drawbacks. Even the construction going on to expand the hotel and make a restaurant was not a bother or noisy at all. The hotel is guarded well with large fences, and armed guards. Kumasi is a great place to experience the History and culture of the Asante people. I learned about Kente weaving, Coco farming, and the Adinkra symbols, as well as the history of the Asante kingdom and the kings' stories. I also experienced the Akwasedie festival, which showcases the kingdom's glory and the thriving culture and heritage. I drove myself from Accra to Kumasi, the hotel location was just perfect because I didn't know the area very well, but one thing I loved more was the privacy. Security was extremely good and I always woke up to a clean valeted car. Staff were always willing to help no matter what time it was. I was fortunate friends living nearby so they told us about the nice places to go to. Everything was nearby. Big supermarket, lots of very affordable restaurants, excellent golf club, plenty of bars.
