- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 88 reviewsThe accommodations have been thoughtfully repurposed to a very high standard from an ancient family farm complex and each is wonderfully unique. The spaces have been well configured to maximize space and utility. Modern conveniences are included (such as AC/Heat units, modern bathrooms and multiple electrical outlets that have been thoughtfully placed) that don't detract from the overall charm of the property. Situated on a hillside on the south side of Aegaili Bay and literally a 4-minute drive to town, the views are simply breathtaking and best of all, it is blissfully quiet. Sustainability isn't just a slogan here, The owners are committed to limiting water usage and recycling as well as reducing the amount of plastic that enters the waste stream. Guests can refill their plastic and glass bottles at a station at reception that provides filtered water. Best of all, the owners and their teenage daughter are extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. They never get in your way but seem to always be available when you need them. If you are looking for an authentic Greek style accommodation in an extremely beautiful and relaxing setting that is conveniently located, I cannot recommend this property enough.Guest review byTwinRocksUnited States
- From $69.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 80 reviewsThe hotel is within a 10-15 minute walk to the harbor. The entrance to the hotel is quite pleasant, and the presence of books is a significant plus. From the moment we made the reservation, the staff was in constant communication with us regarding our potential needs. Dimitra welcomed us early in the morning when we arrived and handed us our room. The room was spacious, airy, and clean. Having a mosquito net on the balcony was a great advantage. We rented a car through their family business, Evdokia, and received detailed and practical information about getting to the harbor, traffic, and more. (Thanks again, Fani :) ) The restaurant below the hotel looked very inviting. Fani and Marios extended an invitation to their table, and we thoroughly enjoyed their wonderful company. I would like to express my gratitude once again.Guest review byElifTurkey
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 120 reviewsBeautiful view. Sitting on the balcony under the umbrella is amazing. At night, you can even hear the waves. Kitchen was equipped with detergent and, much appreciated, new sponge. Simple but clean room. It's wonderful that the room is cleaned daily, with sheets and sparkling white towels (2 for each) changed. Lovely hosts who do all they can to make your stay perfect (they even gave us the chance to shower in another room in the afternoon , after checkout) which was great because a long trip with sand and salt on you is unpleasant. For 75 Euro/ night early July, absolutely worth it.Guest review byEvangelosGreece
- From $95.24 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 210 reviewsAmorgos is an amazing island to enjoy the nature and serenity. To enjoy and explore this island this hotel is in relaxed and vivid location. It’s just by the harbor. It’s close the ferries and bus stop to visit other villages on island. The host and her family are extremely helpful with pleasure. Ioanna just gave me all the information and advices I needed, she has great hospitality with a sincere smile. The rooms, the breakfast, the facility, the staff are extremely nice and it was a pleasure to stay there and meet them. I would stay there again and again.Guest review bySerkanTurkey
- From $161.08 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 280 reviewsThis is an excellent hotel. The manager, Andreas, did everything to make our stay enjoyable and easy — even providing free taxi service to and from the ferry port, and to local restaurants. The rooms are well appointed with coffee machine, fridge, hot plate and other kitchen essentials. Very comfortable beds. Efficient heating (we visited in early May and it was quite chilly). The breakfasts were excellent with great choices of bread, pastries, yogurt, juice, coffee, etc. Outstanding views from the room balconies.Guest review byAlexanderUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 24 reviewsThis boutique hotel is absolutely perfect in every way. Exceptional. This is due to Nikos and Alexia, who spend time and energy to perfect every detail. Nikos also was available to suggest our daily plans, and he never missed. Each hike and swim and meal was just right. I would stay again tomorrow if I could.Guest review byAimeeUnited States

We really enjoyed our time in Aegiali.
We really enjoyed our time in Aegiali. We had a great place to stay in with amazing views of the water and sunsets. The beach is very close as are the hiking trails. So many great restaurants in Aegiali. We also really appreciated that it was peaceful and everyone was friendly. Many come here to hike the trails and we took advantage of this exploring the surrounding villages.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 10.0

Wonderful place with little tourists, amazing views on the sea, authentic food and atmosphere. Never felt so agreeably remote from modern life, without any compromise on comfort at the places we stayed. However be prepared for the bad roads and the poor direction indications - have your GPS ready.Guest review byDavidSwitzerland - 10.0
This was an adorable little town.
This was an adorable little town. There was a little shopping (like a few stores) and some great restaurants. The area is not too touristy. Our kids met up with the local kids every night to play soccer and that absolutely made the trip fantastic for all of us. What a special memory. 2-3 nights here is fine.Guest review byJenniferUnited States - 10.0
Great location to stay at.
Great location to stay at. Beach is big and sandy, great for families. Plenty of options for bars, cafes and restaurants. Great villages close by, our favorite was Lagkada. The main town is about half an hour away with lots of turns and twists.Guest review byDINAKIGreece - 10.0

if you think Santorini is a bit busy and crowded then head to this island for a bit of the feel of how Greece was 30 years ago With excellent restaurants and secluded beaches ( but you are going to need to hire a car or motorbike although the distances you travel a short , from Katapola to far north 30 min and to the far south 30 min and some of the most spectacular drives you will experience anywhereGuest review byPeterAustralia - 10.0
Beautiful little town on a stunning island.
Beautiful little town on a stunning island. Great beach and really good cafes and restaurants. I went for the hiking, there were 2 or 3 really good well marked trails but one I tried was really hard to follow.Guest review byPenelopeAustralia - 8.0
Katapola is very convenient because the port is there.
Katapola is very convenient because the port is there. It is recommended if you are going to rent a car, because there is easy access to Chora and the rest of the island. It is a quiet place and has a lot of Tavernas. "Mouragio" is recommended for fresh fish. The salad with Xinotiron is a must try in Amorgos. Xilokeratidi is a nice long walk from Katapola (maybe 15 minutes) , where one can enjoy the sunset. Enjoy your cocktails at "Fata Morgana" and an amazing pulled pork sandwich. "Yukali" on the other hand offers fresh mussels and seafood pasta topped with excellent service. If you like a long hike continue your walk from Xilokeratidi to Agia Paraskevi for the sunset. It is amazing.Guest review byYiannaV.Cyprus
