The staff was super, super helpful and good. The location is perfect, very nice spot to walk everywhere and catch a taxi as well. The top restaurant will serve you breakfast, lunch and dinner so you are able to enjoy the spectacular Acropolis view with tiny birds visiting at all times. The hotel is wonderfully, perfectly air conditioned both in the lobby and at the rooms. The rooms are clean, quiet, large. So many places to store your stuff. Cartons of water were generously provided. There is also a turnover service around 17:00. The shower has both rain shower option and handheld option which is great. I really liked the amenities as well. As a Turkish person, I never expect a breakfast as good as our standards but this is the first time an European hotel managed to catch my expectation level, amazing breakfast 10/10 (Divan açık büfe ayarında!). The spa should DEFINITELY be booked and experienced as well, super good service. Room 136c on the first floor is the largest suite on the property and is so roomy and comfortable. You have a huge outdoor patio area that looks right out onto the sand and beach...it was just beautiful. On this trip we stayed at several very nice hotels in Spain, Italy and Athens....but nothing compared to this. This was our third trip to Athens it was a brief visit after 11 nights on the island of Sifnos. It is a wonderful place to visit, visiting the Acropolis is a must we also went on the hop on hop off red bus line around Athens this is very informative and really worth the money. I traveled with my daughter & grandson from the US to London for a couple of days, then flew to Athens for a cruise leaving the next day. We made our way out of Athens to stay at the cruise port. We were exhausted but our time at the Seaside Hotel was a wonderful reprieve. It was charming, everyone so friendly and accommodating. A home made with love
A home made with love We only stayed for one night, but we felt comfortable and fresh, like at home. The hostess carefully described how to enter the house and waited for us to confirm that everything was okay despite the late hour. The terrace offers an incredible view of the sea, there is a separate dining area and a sofa under the stars. The rooms are spacious and artistic. There is an unobtrusive elegant artistic accent everywhere - beautifully paintings on the walls or an element on the terrace, truly impressive art. The rooms are spacious and with a view, all have air conditioning. We've been going to Hydra for over 15 years, and love the ease of the island, especially no vehicles. Though the beaches aren't your classic white sandy beaches the sea is beautiful and the people are really hospitable. We had choice to go to one of three closest islands near Athens. Aegina is big and the closest to Athens so quite crowded on weekends where Athenians escape from the heat. Hydra is quite beautiful but a bit expensive, no sandy beaches near center and no transport on island except of horses and donkeys (it is charming, though, worth to visit for one day). So the last choice was Poros, with moderate prices, nice beaches, even free municipal bus, and 5 minutes boat ride to the mainland village of Galatas, which also has great restaurants to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine.Guest review byKA111ERGeorgia - 8.0

Lovely, long, sandy beach - clear waters and safe swimming. Lots of bars, cafés and restaurants along the beach and on the Main Street. Two supermarkets. Cute little harbour - three ferries to and from the mainland daily. I have only visited in May and September when presumably it is a little quieter than it is in full summer and tend to use the sunbeds at Ocean Beach bar as they are good quality and service is excellent there. The best cocktails are at the Paradise restaurant on the beach and the best place to eat is Thymari restaurant. The best coffee and friendliest welcome is at CaféZil on the Main Street.
