I don't know where to start.
I haven't had such a good experience for a long time.
The property is a family business and as a visitor you can see and feel it every minute. You are welcome and you are treated as a friend. Staff is always there when you need them and help you with whatever you may need. I did not hear "no" as an answer although I had many questions about different services and things which were not even related to the hotel. So they do not only care about the hotel but also about the place they are operating in.
Hotel is located in Marmari which is a small village in Evia. You can Rafina-Marmari ferry to get there. From the port it's reachable by foot, but if you have a lot of things or have some trouble walking I would recommend to take a taxi as the hotel is located on top of the hill and the road is pretty steep.
Our room was perfect. It was big enough and had a balcony facing the sea and the pool.
Breakfast was simple but good. I would suggest to have an option to order a proper cappuccino for an extra fee as they make great coffee, but the one they have for breakfast is not as good.
Pool is fantastic. Water is clean and not too warm. And what is absolutely brilliant - they are not using usual chloride but some kind of salt, so the water is gentle for eyes does not leave any bad smell to your swimwear.
And now we get to the biggest surprise. I have been really sceptical about hotel restaurant and I still will be in the future, but this poolside restaurant was something different. It all starts with great people who work with passion. The service there was spot on and should be an example to many restaurants.
The food was DELICIOUS! We did not plan to eat there that much, but found ourselves having a dinner two times + some snacks as well. And if you want to have your food paired with a good wine, ask for John who will find the perfect match to your appetiser, main or dessert.

Together with my friends we are long time customers of this property.
The location is special in an impressive natural setting; these noble people managed to create an atmosphere that rests your soul.
Everything is luxury. Exceptional cleanliness. The apartments are equipped with everything you need, a kitchen with everything clean, a washing machine. I stayed in the apartment for two people and in the suite for 4 people. Everything is superlative. They are open to any concerns or dissatisfaction that they try to create a dream vacation for you. The employees at the reception, bar, waiter that I have met over time have a special respect for customers and are always benevolent, warm, welcoming, with a smile on their lips that you can't come back here. Year after year we return with love. I haven't met these quality services at this price, in such a natural setting and special people.
This time, we arrived at the location very late from the airport, Panagiotis was waiting for us, he greeted us warmly like old friends, he offered us what we wanted to drink from the house, he told us about the area this special. Thank you
I'm repeating myself but I have to emphasize because the people who created this place have put soul into every corner to crrate a little heaven for guests.
We will come back with love and thank you all of you for your kindness and attention you surrounded us every time.

Such an amazing experience at Thalatta. If you're looking for a place you can stop, drop, and do nothing for a few days to a week, this is perfect. We didn't need to leave the hotel at all - the rooms, pool, beach, everything, was better than expected. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they really made our stay there 10/10. I booked in for a massage in the spa which was exceptional, and the gym facilities are small but very new and modern. You can even book the gym out completely so you have the entire space to yourself.
We don't have kids yet but there were many children there kept entertained at the kids club. When we do have children, I would 100% come back to Thalatta as I know they'll have a fun experience too!
The breakfast is also outstanding. It was included in our room fee and honestly was one of the best breakfasts I've had on a European holiday. So much choice!

We had an amazing stay at Amaronda Resort & Spa, Eretria! Our group of five adults and three children had the most wonderful all-inclusive experience. The atmosphere was calm and family-friendly, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff were consistently kind, attentive, and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the resort offered so many great activities for both adults and kids. We truly had an excellent time and can’t wait to return. Great hotel. We stayed just for 2 nights on our way back from some South Island. So we chose it just for relax. The staff is great, very good breakfast and dinner. Thought, they could improve the bath, is kind of old. And a suggestion: they could make an indoor pool for children. Kids could not use any of the indoor pools and outdoor pool was very cold in this time of year.

The ancient city is very interesting on its own but combined with the dramatic landscape of steep mountains and views, it is wonderful!! There are a lot of stairs. The museum was definitely worth visiting. It got busy with tour groups so I suspect early or late in the day would be best.
We ate in two of the Tavernas with views. Both good.

it was my 3rd time in Chalkida: its a 100.000 inhabitants town and its typical Greek city: dirty, loud, traffic out of control - every driver is doing what he wants. be careful when you cross the road by foot!!
you have a very clean and calm shopping mall and a tourist area on the beach where is a lot of Restaurants. unfortunately, the later the evening, the louder the music. we were in Mostar meeting friends and you could not understand your own word. whats sense of so loud music in a Restaurant?
around Chalkida there are a lot of wonderful, peaceful places. visit the beach areas or the Castle Cafe for a good cup!
prices in most restaurants are very fair, but be careful not to be tricked: especially when you choose fish, ASK BEFORE what it will cost!

Lamia is just the capital of the perfecture of Mainland Greece! So there is not much to do in the city if you are there on vacation except the castle and hot springs around Lamia as also trekking routes around Lamia

This is a place for those who like to walk, like nature and fresh air. It is not hot. We found a tavern nearby with very fresh and tasty food for lunch. In a small supermarket we bought some food for breakfast. They also proposed a variety of honeys of excellent quality.

The town has two coves used as harbours. The yacht marina has many restaurants and pubs. There are several expensive hotels in the town and a few less expensive ones, as well as shops and a pharmacy. It is a charming, small town with many streets for walking by the sea. An Orthodox church stands tall above the town. which itself has a very long history, dating back to the 8th century BC. Center was busy, nice and well endowed.
Center was busy, nice and well endowed. Many restaurants, and people walking around downtown in the evenings. That place has a history of tourism which is visible and valued by the city hall.
Better beaches are further away.
Not so easy to find a supermarket or a mini-market in the center.
Ferry not available after 7 pm so when travelling by car need to adjust schedule accordingly. .

We stayed in Arachova for one night for our visit to Delphi in June. It was a perfect location to stay for a visit to the site. It is a picturesque mountain village with great shopping, restaurants and views.
