    Our stay at Kivotos Santorini was excellent! The view was incredible from our hideaway suite and the whole hotel. We had a delicious breakfast every morning that you could choose from multiple options - all very good. The service was second to none. Everything was easy - the front desk arranged private transfers for us throughout our stay and we had communication with them via whatsapp for instant service. When we arrived, we received a very warm welcome and complimentary chilled bottle of wine in our room with other items, and everyone was so friendly throughout our stay. The room was also excellent and was tidied every morning while we were at breakfast. They had an evening service if you wished with a complimentary dessert, too. We really enjoyed our time there and didn't want to leave our suite hardly with the incredible view! I would recommend Kivotos to anyone!

    We had an amazing experience at this lovely family-run hotel. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The balcony had direct access to the outdoor pool, which was a real highlight – the pool itself is stunning, with plenty of shade and super comfy sun loungers that made relaxing effortless.     Superb boutique hotel perfect for a quiet get away. Large room, incredible hotel pool and sandy beach right across the road with loads of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Amazing breakfasts and cocktails by the pool. Cant recommend this place highly enough if you are looking for a beach break away from the crowds in Fira and Ouia. We never had to book a table, lounger or wait for a table. We'll definitely be back.

    While Fira and Santorini in general is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, I do think it has become very touristy. However, it is definitely worth visiting once and it was nice to relax there especially after a trip to Athens. Beware though for anyone who has trouble climbing stairs. Most of the cliffside hotels can be challenging to get to, so do your research before booking anything. One highly recommended restaurant is RIZES. Service was ok, BUT THE RESTAURANT IS BEAUTIFUL AND FOOD FANTASTIC! Our best meal in Greece.

    Mikonos is very cute but very small, probably two or three days is enough to stay there, more than enough but if you are in a boat could be a different experience. The windmills and the marina are my favorites spots and of course the restaurants and the shopping is all there.

    We loved spending 6 nights in Paros. We rented a car. It was stick shift. A tad scary for me. But it was doable. Paros has great beach clubs. My daughters booked horse riding one day and then walked to the nearby town. After we met at a great beach club, we had lots of great dinners and sunsets. Fabulous shops. We drove to Leifros one day. We like Paros best. Taxis were outside the hotel. Also there was a transport office two doors up that arranged rides to beach club for us and picked us up. Our water sports boat trip was cancelled bc of weather but we went to beach clubs,

    On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes...

    On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes of caldera, so it has different levels. On the plus side as soon as you leave the hotel you are on the famous Fira/Oia walk - turn right for Fira. You are on the highest part of the caldera so initially it is downhill, also you are close to Skaros rock which is worth visiting for the views and has a church partially hidden on the seaward side at a slightly lower elevation. As long as you can look to the sea you will have great sunset views wherever you are,my hotel patio was great for this.

    Having stayed two weeks in Perissa, I dare say I know it a bit. It's a great mix of not too big of a town, plenty of groceries shopping spots, Restaurants with some great offers, nice beaches (even though one has to get used to black sand) and cultural spots like a very nice Orthodox Church and some historic ruins if you dare to hike a bit. It's wasn't too crowded either, so if you consider going, do so Early - Mid September.
