There are some fantastic places to eat and a great cocktail...
There are some fantastic places to eat and a great cocktail bar , however there are no sun beds or umbrellas on the beaches and also not a lot of natural shade so can be a problem. It was also very windy when we were there.

Great golden sand beaches (including the port beach and nearby Kedros) and good, sometimes challenging, hiking routes. Quiet in September and rather windy. Little choice of restaurants and limited, expensive mini markets.

Beautiful little island, unspoiled original Greece. 110 permanent inhabitants, 350 cats, a donkey, some wild goats and fortunately not too many tourists. No need for a car (there is no petrol station). There is a taxi and minibus service and a fishing boat to get to various beaches. No organized beaches so water, food and a beach umbrella are definitely recommended.
