The Old Town of Chania is a great place to wander around, there are so many little streets lined with local restaurants, cafe's, craft shops, clothing and of course local food and drink. In the main, all the restaurants served quite similar food including Cretan Specials, but with their own individual twist to it. If you like Italian for a change, Veneto Ristorante Italiano is the one to go for, but you should book in advance if you want a specific time and no waiting around. This not just a Pizza restaurant, all their food is excellent and the waiters are a pleasure to deal with, so is the owner himself, quite a character. If you like historic locations, then this is a little gem, the Venetian Port/Harbour including lighthouse is a nice walk, also plenty of Bar / Restaurants to quench your this or hunger. In summary, this is a great place to relax in, take a boat trip or just have a wander, glad we chose Chania Old Town, it was a great week.Guest review byWayneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
