Amazing location with perfect view on the sea and romantic sunset. Staff is simply wonderful, paying attention to all details and providing top level service. Room with infinite pool is a top choice to relax and enjoy amazing view. Breakfast is excellent, great selection of dishes. Parking in front of the hotel, while they also provide great support for any transfer or information you need.

Location is great if you need to stay close to the New Port (just opposite the street). Stayed for one night only to leave the next morning from the New Port. Rooms are lovely, had a great view from top of the building across the port (stairs are quite steep). Had no time for the pool but looked great as well. Breakfast was good. Service was great (driver, reception, restaurant). Absolut recommendation.

Dear Mr. Panos! Thank you for allowing us to spend four days in your hotel. Everything was perfect, the room, the environment, the pools, the breakfast, you can't list them all. There was a free shuttle waiting at the airport and this continued during our stay there. I have stayed in many hotels, but never in such a friendly environment. We will definitely be back!

The Exclusive Party Island

The ‘Island of Wind’, Mykonos is best known for its 16th-century windmills, good watersports and outrageous nightlife.

The capital is liberal Mykonos Town (or Chora), where windmills overlook beautiful Little Venice with whitewashed houses right on the water. Keep an eye out for Petros the Pelican – the island’s mascot - by the beach. The sunsets here are fantastic, but it’s after dark that the bars and clubs (including famous Cavo Paradiso) on its cobbled streets kick into life. This is the de facto Greek party island, but unlike less exclusive counterparts Malia and Faliraki, you might struggle to find cheap Mykonos hotels here.

A complete contrast is laidback Kalafati, popular with windsurfers. Good for surfing is Ornos, while next door Aghios Ioannis was the setting for the ‘Shirley Valentine’ film. Its sandy beach offers views of uninhabited Delos island whose archaeological sites are UNESCO World Heritage listed.

Elia has the longest beach, while around the coast is Platis Gialos, a popular resort with a good number of Mykonos hotels on the beach on Booking.com. Glass-bottomed boats departing from here give great views of local sealife.

Cruise ships dock at Tourlos and the turquoise waters of neighbouring Aghios Stefanos are sheltered by low hills. Inland, peaceful Ano Mera provides a taste of more traditional Mykonos life.

Every single person I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They remembered my preferences, offered helpful suggestions, and always greeted me like I was part of the Ammos family. It’s rare to feel so personally cared for in a hotel, and they absolutely nailed it. My room was serene and beautifully designed, balancing Cycladic elegance with modern comforts. Spotless, calming, and perfectly restful. Waking up to the breeze from the sea and ending the night with a quiet moment on the balcony — unforgettable. The restaurants were another highlight. From Farina’s handmade pasta to the creative flavors at Kuzina, everything was delicious, fresh, and served in the most beautiful setting. Even breakfast felt like a luxury experience. What touched me the most, though, was the energy of the place — relaxed, refined, yet always welcoming. Ammos doesn’t try to impress with extravagance. It wins you over with soul, warmth, and the kind of hospitality that stays with you long after you leave. I left with a full heart, completely recharged, and already thinking about when I can return. This was heavenly. An absolutely stunning hotel and location. The room was spacious, elegant and offered breathtaking views. Beds were comfortable and the shower was perfection. We utilised one of the dining areas and enjoyed the live music and festive Greek plate smashing - so much fun. The music were fabulous. We also enjoyed the bar - fantastic staff and range. Room service was the best room service we have had with staff setting up the dining experience outside on the balcony with candlelight. All staff were exceptional - professional and friendly, exceptional hospitality. The pool area, beach and transportation options were all fantastic. Cannot speak more highly about this hotel. Would absolutely stay here again and again.

We didnt just like everything we LOVED everything ! We stay at Petasos every time we visit Mykonos - the rooms are spacious, clean and with beautiful views ! The breakfast is the best ! Everything is offered and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. You can go to the beach, or the pool or walk around the little village now outside the hotel. Every time we visit , we dont want to leave !Thanks Petasos for the best stay ever ! :)

Picturesque city with a multitude of bars and restaurants. A few high end clothing stores, and many many businesses selling jewelry, clothes, souvenirs and fridge magnets. Quite small, apparently caters to party goers over the summer (went in October end of season, where most main venues had closed).

The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos.

The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos. Sea taxi into Mykonos town and in the town was extremely busy with the people from the cruise ships. Mykonos is beautiful but very expensive. The new port for the ferry’s is a nightmare a free for all with very little help telling you where to go or what to do. I’m glad I’ve experienced it, but I won’t go again.

What I liked the most is how accesible the beaches are and how beautiful they are. The water is crystal clear. What I didn't like is how much space the beach clubs take of the beach and how close the sun beds are to each other.

Just far enough out of the busy streets of Mykonos town but a few minutes walk into Little Venice. The road in doesn’t have pavements and was a little scary to walk in the dark as cars come whizzing down .

The beach is all pebbles, Naxos beaches were better.

The beach is all pebbles, Naxos beaches were better. There didn't seem to be a lot of extra activities at the beach like you see at other tourist beaches, but I also went in late September so might be more mid-year. Not much for snorkeling either. Its not a bad beach, just not particularly interesting. There is just the one public bus so you can't miss it. There are a few places to eat nearby, but closed because it was so late in the year.

Ano Mera is a beautiful village away from the expensive...

Ano Mera is a beautiful village away from the expensive lively part of Mykonos. I would definitely recommend a stay here as the square restaurants are not overly expensive and the food is delightful. Ano Mera is a short 10 minute bus journey to the amazing beach of Elia.

The location is very peaceful and centre of Mykonos, but slightly away from the Chora, however there was no problem for us since we hired a scooter, and with €6 of petrol we covered almost 60% of the city.

LGBT friendly beach. Well, mostly men.

LGBT friendly beach. Well, mostly men. Less noisy than Super Paradise. Nudist friendly, great vibes all arround. The only minus is the pricing and conditions because they impose a minimum charge from the bar, that they've never enforced, but still, it's a bit annoying when you already pay 70EUR for 2 sunbeds to also be forced to make a minumum order of 100 EUR from the bar. The beach restaurant is very good.

Expensive sun beds that took up 95% of beach in the first week of Oct. Everyone squashed on a tiny section which was a real shame. Very good facilities around the area for food and supermarkets tho. Get bus to Agios Ioannis for lovely unspoiled beach with no bars

Mikonos is very cute but very small, probably two or three...

Mikonos is very cute but very small, probably two or three days is enough to stay there, more than enough but if you are in a boat could be a different experience. The windmills and the marina are my favorites spots and of course the restaurants and the shopping is all there.
