What can I say about this property except that it was incredible! Amazing hospitality, amazing breakfast, amazing facilities - every single detail has been thought about and it has been the highlight of my time in Greece! From the free airport transfers, the amazing sweets left in the room, daily cleaning, private pool sessions, free beach towels and even access to a shower after check out, they have it all. Do not hesitate in booking this hotel, way more than a 2 star hotel!!

From the moment we arrived Eleni, General Manager, and Staff made us feel at home. Eleni is a dedicated manager who will do anything to please her guests. She is warm and caring, while being professional and extremely efficient. Sophia and Debbie complemented Eleni, and were always responsive or our needs. Our room was clean, roomy, and airy. Our porch had the best view. The kitchen put out authentic well balanced food. The pool and bar area were beautiful and well maintained. Eleni communicated with us, and her responses were always quick and efficient. While I was ill the chef made me greek chicken soup for 4 days at Eleni's instruction. Socrates, Petra, Vasillis, and Max were excellent service people always assuring your every need was satisfied. Housekeeping was consistent and top notch. Akre Hotel is a Zen like Hotel, - quiet and relaxing for couples who want privacy and relaxation.

A beautiful hotel, the room was big and comfortable, it was cleaned every day. The beach is very close to the hotel. The staff in general and the staff from the hotel bar in particular, both the day shift and the night shift, has a 10+ from us. Thank you! Congrats to the owner for choosing the right staff. Everything was perfect, Maria was very polite and helpful, the room was better than the pictures and kept clean daily we have been around a few of the islands now and this one is up the top of best stays, the location was central to everything, very good restaurants and cafes within a 5 min walk. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay. We would stay again

Very friendly staff (specially the breakfast crew). Great breakfast. Very nice and new infrastructure, room cleaning was perfect. Laid back and quiet atmosphere, guests are booking this hotel to relax (even the pool music is comfortable low and not annoying). We asked before arrival for a more private room because we always sleep with the balcony door wide open and we got a perfect room to the side of the hotel. We will return for sure.

Everything was perfect, a good location, is possible to walk to the centre, the place very well decorated in cycladic style, very quite, the breakfast was delicious and homemade and lot of food. María and her Mum were so kind and gentle, it was a pleasure to stay there, I really recomend It!

We loved the room decoration, comfortable size and very clean.The decoration of the room is inspired by the by the Mediterranean island, a beautiful combination of white and earthy tones. The bathroom also large with the same tones. We loved the food served in the restaurant, delicious Greek dishes with a twist of modern touch. At the check in, we were welcome with their incredible tasty Sangria made with their own wine. The breakfast has a wide range of choices. The staff is very friendly and warm, always greeting the guests with a genuine smile and interest. At our check out the concierge offered us a Greek bottle of wine, such a beautiful detail.

We had a lovely stay at Sweet Home Naxos. Our apartment had everything we needed for the 7 of us. Location was great, was about 10mins walk out of the main centre so was nice and quiet, lots of car parking if you hired a vehicle. And just down the road was a coffee shop called Barcode that did the best coffee!! Staff were amazing! So friendly and upon arrival greeted us with cold water and cake! The breakfast included was so yum with fresh warm croissant’s and yummy yoghurt! Could not recommend Sweet Home Naxos more!

This property was outstanding. The room we had with private pool, jacuzzi and bathtub was gorgeous. The staff were amazing and we absolutely loved our stay. It is on the bus line to the closest beach. The breakfast was all home made and really yummy. Very organic ingredients and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back!

It's a very attractive place to stay and a good centre for visiting the rest of this fascinating island. The narrow streets in the old area around the citadel are fascinating to explore. Very wide choice of excellent restaurants, most of them very reasonably priced. Staff are invariably pleasant and helpful, and usually speak English fluently. The bus office is also a great facility.

Plaka has a fantastic beach and many restaurants. It is a place to be but not be all day every day. This was not our goal for vacation. We drove up into the mountains to Rotunda for lunch, to Johnny's for a dinner and to see schools, many small villages and their orthodox churches, filled with icons! You can take a marble carving class with Maggie Ross! Naxos has much more to offer than beaches. Paragliding was also exciting to watch in the south. Chora and the harbor were fun to experiences. There are many opportunities waiting to be enjoyed beyond the beaches on Naxos!

Very nice big calm beach but unfortunately I went in October and some days it rained. I would recommend going also to a beach a little south called Mikri Vigla where you can find smaller more intimate beaches.

Unfriendly owners. Don’t make the mistake and eat in the only other taverna- you won’t get any breakfast and they will treat you like enemies…. If the owners won’t change their habit stay away from this family!

This location is very good for if you have a quad bike as you can travel between the old town and the beaches along the coast on the other side, as well as inland. Quad hire is very reasonably priced and the company we used is very nearby. This is a lovely peaceful area. Groceries are a little expensive and there is a bigger supermarket than the one on the corner that has some more options. There are many lovely restaurants a very short walk from the accommodation, along the beach. A few have seating on the actual sand which is really special and romantic for couples.

lovely place to stay at and best of all Tosas mom was the sweetest and makes all homemade goods and breakfast, youll never get hungry here . we were greeted with plentiful of fruits and homebaked goods.the place was quiet and had the best views of the town and seaview..we wished we stayed here longer..they clean the place everyday and provides fresh towels and beddings changed everyday. Tosas had given us ideas to where to go and see some attractions and restaurants too.. we loved our stay here..

Apeiranthos is a really lovely village up in the mountains...

Apeiranthos is a really lovely village up in the mountains of Naxos. You park just outside the village then walk in to the village. It’s steep but there is a level walk you can follow for the majority of your visit if you do not feel able to explore. If you do, you are rewarded with magical alleyways and a maze of paths and views with little churches etc. The restaurants are fantastic in the village. You can sit and eat in little squares or look out from terraces to the countryside below. If you have a car you can explore nearby villages, churches and coast.

The people in Naxos were all so kind and thoughtful.

The people in Naxos were all so kind and thoughtful. The town felt very authentic. The food was delicious. The island had many charming places , but was difficult to navigate. GPS often took you off main roads and into areas difficult to drive and easy to get lost.
