The Green and Blue Island
Covered by natural pine forests, Skopelos is one of the greenest islands in the Aegean Sea and the largest island in the Sporades group. This colorful paradise features crystal clear waters, pebble beaches, blue caves, charming villages and imposing churches.
Skopelos Town is a maze of picturesque cobbled streets, traditional whitewashed houses, red-tiled roofs and small taverns. Nestled on the top of the hill, the old Venetian castle is visible from every part of the town. Loutraki is the 2nd port on the island, featuring nice fish restaurants and bars.

- From US$55.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 189 reviewsLet me save you some time, stop looking elsewhere, this hotel is PERFECT. The location - it's literally a 3 minute, flat walk, across the road to the beach, 4 minutes from the ferry and the wonderful town of Skopelos and all of it's amenities, including the regular bus service (in the summer it was running from 7am to 1am, every day and at least every 20 minutes). There are many restaurants, artisan and ice cream shops in this town, everything was so close to the hotel. Having said that I was never disturbed by any noise, as the rooms are set slightly back from the main road. The rooms - are basic but have everything you need, including an incredibly comfortable and pillows, ensuite bathrooms with great water pressure and hot water, the aircon worked really well - after a month travelling through Romania and Greece this was the first time I had experienced this! The breakfast - a full buffet breakfast is offered from 8am until 10.30am and always had a great choice, from fresh fruit and yogurt, to bread, cheese, tomatoes, jam, boiled eggs and cereal, juice and coffee...and there was always an extra sweet option, such as cake or donuts! Cleanliness - the room was spotless upon arrival and there was a daily maid service, with bedding changed every other day and a change of towels on the day the bedding wasn't changed. Staff - I cannot express this enough, all of the staff were FANTASTIC - so genuinely friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. This included the ladies cleaning my room, the management, the poolside bar staff, the lady at breakfast and the receptionist. I was made to feel so very welcome, again, as a single traveller I hadn't experienced such a welcome all summer either! Wifi - I used this a lot! It was always a strong connection. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and have recommended this hotel to all of my traveller friends.Guest review byLauraUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 156 reviewsAmazing service, beyond comparison anywhere we’ve ever travelled to. Thanks to all the amazing staff, they made a great experience unforgettable: super flexible and helpful with any request. Late checkout was encouraged and they helped in any way they could. It really felt like being hosted by family members, however offering privacy and never ever crossing any boundaries.Guest review byCarlottaDominican Republic

The town is really interesting, from the bustling front full of bars, shops and cafes, to the car-free old town up flights of stone steps. Lovely old archictecture in the old town, some very good restaurants lower down. The walk up from the far side of the harbour gives beautiful sea views and. a glimpse of old Skopelos. There are lots of buses to nearby beaches and large villages - also very beautiful. Lots of cat feeding stations provided by volunteers see pics.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Getting to the island was a little bit of a challenge but...
Getting to the island was a little bit of a challenge but very much worth it. The beaches around the island are absolutely beautiful with crystal clear waters, and they are a short drive away from Stafylos which makes it an ideal base location. Moped and car rental is very cheap, we rented a moped for 12 days which cost around £140. The island was of course one of the filming locations for Mamma Mia! so if you are interested in visiting them there are tours available, but I would personally recommend doing some research before you visit and explore yourself. The Chapel of St. John is one location that is in particularly beautiful, and I would recommend visiting around dusk as the sky is like a painting. The town offers amazing places to eat and drink, depending where you go the prices vary but there is lots to choose from, I would recommend Kochylis bakery and patisserie for breakfast and lunch, and there is a food van near in the evenings that offer a traditional gyros that are cheap for the portion size. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, truly beautiful place that I would happily visit again/Guest review byChristopherUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Panormos is maybe the best spot on Skopelos island, great natural beauty and facing south-you can swim with all weathers, meltemi included! Many nice restaurants, friendly people, quiet and cool spot is you are not located on the main road. Try the Kraken, certainly, for food and drinks! Try the Espresso for all-day delights, try Linarakia, Nikos, Yiannis and Vasiliki restaurants for quality greek food. Frequent connection with the port by decent, airconditioned busses, too. The only disadvantage is maybe the very road that brings you to Panormos, as it runs across it and one has to be very careful, either when driving through or when crossing on foot to the sea. If you have a choice, avoid the month of August, at least the first 3 weeks of it ...Guest review byRANGOUSSI - 10.0
Neo Klima is a small pretty little town about halfway...
Neo Klima is a small pretty little town about halfway between Glossa and Skopelos Town. It's sunset central in our opinion! It's very much a locals town with small supermarkets and a superb bakery with cakes and pastries to bust your waistline, and a great selection of bread. It's small enough to stroll around with lots of narrow passages and alleys. The restaurants are traditional and authentic taverna style, we highly recommend Manolis in particular. There's also a great bar at the seafront close to Hovolo beach called Madalaki for coffee and snacks, and they do a great Mojito! It's much busier during July and August with some great watersports available along the seafront, and parking is really easy and free. It's almost deserted during the low seasons. The area close to the harbour arm where the yachts moor has a real village ambience where locals hold events for the community. The piece-de-resistance has to be the backdrop to Neo Klima - it is bright green pine and cypress forest that tumbles down to the sea on all sides, and the fresh pine fragrance is intoxicating.Guest review bydarrenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If you want a stay to relax in a gorgeous village high in the mountains with amazing views easy access to the magnificent beaches of Skopelo this is the place to stay. The apartment is like a little cottage clean and has all amenities even an external laundry. You will not want to leave and the host is very accommodating not that you will need her my experience with the host was the introduction to the place she was very thorough showed us every nook and cranny. The village has two mini supermarkets and a few restaurants/tavern, and a gorgeous bakery.Everything is walking distance. This village is super stunning the locals very friendly. Total quiet during the night, waking up to the noise of roosters, church bells and the smell coming from the bakery.Guest review byHelenAustralia - 8.0

Exploring Glossa is an absolute joy if you enjoy taking photos, it's very beautiful. Unfortunately, despite visiting mid-May, many of the tavernas had yet to open for the season. One fabulous find was Rouga, warm welcome and lovely food.Guest review byValerieUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Agnontas is a beautiful, clean small village set among pine trees and mountains. A small bay with a lovely beach and crystal clear waters, sailing boats and fishing boats. The village only boasts a general store and three Taverna, local homes and some with accommodation for guests, Close enough to Skopelos Town by bus or taxi, within walking distance of Limnonari beach and natural beauty hiking paths. This village is quiet and peace-filled. The three Taverna offer both authentic Greek food, Seafood and one offers a fusion-variety of Greek food.Guest review byFionaGreece - 10.0

Skopelos town is beautiful as you would expect and you have everything you need a short stroll away. Supermarkets, bakeries and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Amazing in the evening and very vibrant. Romantic dinners by the shore along with cool cocktail bars in the backstreets. Great vibe.Guest review byChristosAustralia - 8.0

Very scenic location with one of the most beautiful and accesible beaches on the island and a very good and affordable restaurant with incredible view. On the downside is that the beach is quite narrow and every day or so the passing sea jet will cause huge waves which sweep away everything that sits on the beach. Also, beach bar is very expensive with a very basic selection of foods and drinks.Guest review byDIMITRIOSGreece - 10.0
From the owners to the accommodation I just cannot fault.
From the owners to the accommodation I just cannot fault. I just loved everything about this place and the people in Skopelos, that it will stay in my heart forever. I was staying by myself but the owners just took me under their wing and I felt really safe and cared for.Guest review byGeorgeAustralia
