The building is clean and fancy, the room is designed and decorated modern, also big, clean-tidy up. The staff here are amazing! So helpful, friendly and happy to sort out anything you need 😁 Iade a mistake and booked for the 28th of the next month instead of the month I was travelling and they sorted it out no problem (after laughing for a while 😂) they arranged a room for me straight away and sorted out the incorrect booking for me. I had a lovely stay here in cheung Chau and I will be back! The room was lovely, spacious and had a great beach view. Truly amazing, thankyou ☺

The neighbourhood around the hotel is nice. Lots of place to eat local food. The staffs are so helpful esp. Mr. Wilson at the concierge :) The room is tiny but it fits for 2 especially with this price for Hong Kong! They provide shuttle bus every hour to the MTR station. Totally love it!

Royal Plaza is situated within walking distance to MTR which is very convenient to navigate around the city. We took taxi to and from the airport, which is only less than 35 USD including 4 luggage. The hotel lobby has a cookie / bakery shop and their cookies and chocolates are amazing.

Approximately a 10 mins walk from the Tai Wo Hau MTR station, the location is quite good if you're planning on travelling to various parts of the city. Clean and spacious room, comfy bed, nothing to complain about. Free water bottles were provided by the cleaning staff as well.

If you’ve visited Hong Kong in the past, you can skip it now...

If you’ve visited Hong Kong in the past, you can skip it now. The city has gone downhill. It used to be the vibrant, colourful tiger of Asia; today it feels like just another large, characterless Chinese metropolis. It’s simply not worth the time. You’re better off going to Singapore, Hanoi, Manila — really, almost anywhere else.

Brilliant place. Eat at any local noodle place, not a steakhouse, pub or Costa, Starbucks or any of that commercial genering stuff. Don't forget to visit the surrounding hills including Victoria peak
