Great location, safe and free parking. Staff excellent, everything you need is on-site. I had the cold cuts for starter followed by the braised beef cheeks, food was excellent. I followed this with a full bodied red wine at the bar.

Its a genuine luxury resort for affordable money and the guests and staff act accordingly. For an average person on a holiday its amazing, for someone looking for a 5 star hotel with a concierge etc...well you would have to pay elsewhere for similar or worse set up for a lot more money. Its new and beyond impressive from views to the interior, If you meet 1 bad staff member, they were probably bad or having a bad day, if you meet all bad staff members, you're probably the issue.

The hotel is very good, very clean with a modern design. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms have a good size with amenities and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast with good variety. The hotel has parking garage. It's not in the old town but there is a bus stop next to the hotel that will take right to the old city Pile gate, buses are frequent and it's a 5 minute ride.

I recently stayed at Medora Auri, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything one could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was excellent, with easy access to various attractions and amenities in the area. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were consistently helpful and attentive throughout my stay, always going the extra mile to ensure I had a pleasant experience. Additionally, the hotel's strategic location made it convenient for me to explore the surrounding areas by car, allowing me to travel and explore the country with ease. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Great variety of food and drinks available at every meal (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner), and throughout the day. The staff was very polite and informative and always strived to help at any request. The room was clean and modern (we even got a free upgrade to a bigger one than booked which was great!) and had all the necessary facilities. Many activities were available, from renting bikes to tennis courts, pool aerobics and many more! The beach was so close to the hotel that you could grab a drink, take a couple of steps and be on the sea already. All in all an amazing experience!

A beautiful, mid-evil little fortress, complete with an enormous amount of winding, cobbled alleyways, that leads to walled courtyards with magnificent old buildings etc, or to a fabulous little seafront promenade housing many eateries, restaurants, and a sea view to die for!!! For me it’s too late in the year for sea swimming but not for sunbathing if that’s your thing. Not for me, good weather is important for boat trips and exploring further afield and this is a good base for that but can be pricey. Nothing much to do in Cavtat at this time of year and basically it all closes down on 31st October. Half the restaurants are still open but I don’t know for how much longer and they are also pricey. Dinner for two with a drink and a glass of wine is is very easily €100 plus. The whole town gets dressed up and comes out for a walk on Sunday. Very nice, just like Italy or Spain. My overall impression is that tourists are coming with holiday money and they want as much of it as possible. I suppose that’s how you only open for 6 or 7 months of the year. So, nice place and a lovely hotel at reasonable price ( but that may be because it was closedown time?) but be ready to spend!

Vodice is a very crowded place.

Vodice is a very crowded place. The beach is long but not very wide, so there were many people, and sometimes you couldn’t even find a spot to put your towel. The city center is also not as beautiful as other Croatian cities, such as Poreč, Pula, Omiš, or Zadar. It doesn’t offer much to explore, but there are some nice places to see nearby, such as the islands of Prvić and Murter. We also liked the beach in Rovinj, which has many more facilities. On the beach in Vodice, there is also a nightclub that gets really loud, so it’s not the best option for a holiday with small children.
