Everything was fantastic. Everybody was kind .The Main Cook and also twice the female main Cook made me every day a special meal because of my Allergie. They were extremely helpful. The buffet was very good.Breafast and half Pension. Also the Woman at the reception and the whole Staff were so nice. Because I found the room for 7 nights too small I could upgrade to a bigger one. Also the Spa Staff is fantastic. They were extremely professional. It was our first time there. we will come back.

FAQs about hotels in Istria

Land of History, Sun and Wine

The land of stony beaches, sapphire seas and rocky mountains, Istria is the largest peninsula of the Adriatic Sea. It’s a popular tourist destination famous for its cuisine, weather and wine.

Istria has been a part of many powerful empires: the Byzantine, Roman, Venetian, Austro-Hungarian and more recently, Yugoslavian. Each of them has left an easily recognisable mark on the architecture, giving you an opportunity for a crash course in the region’s fascinating past just by travelling around.

The Brijuni Islands are a must-see for that reason. They were once President Tito’s private property with a large zoo, over 200 dinosaur footprints and a never-ending stream of international guests, including heads of state and Hollywood film stars.

Located near the Brijuni is the largest city of the Istria region, Pula, best-known for the beautiful Roman architecture and tranquil countryside surrounding it, as well as for its winemaking and fishing traditions.

Whether you’re visiting Pula or other towns like Pazin, Porec or Opatija, make sure to visit local restaurants and try Italian-influenced dishes with famous Istrian peppers, truffles and seafood. Finish your meal with grappa or a glass of sweet wine - the best comes from the Kalavojna region.

Istria is a diverse region and Booking.com offers equally diverse properties. From boutique hotels to comfortable apartments, you have a range of nearly 600 properties to choose from.

Nice, family friendly hotel in a stunning location. It is situated on its own private island just a short ferry ride away from Rovinj. The location is just incredible. There are pools for every age. The sea water is also crystal clear and not to cold to swim in. The staff is nice, helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and most of them are with a view. The hotel is a great value for money in its category.

On booking we didn't realise it was a holiday camp style resort. But we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and wish we would have had more time to stay longer. Also the buffet restaurant is great Vue for money or you can go shopping to the supermarket and the on site greengrocer. We will definitely be back.

Rovinj is a beautiful city where walking around is a true pleasure. There is so much to see, and I highly recommend it. The city is exceptionally clean, with friendly people, and hospitality deserves every praise. Definitely a place to visit—you won’t regret it. The restaurants are affordable and the food is wonderful. In every restaurant we visited, the staff was very kind and welcoming. It’s extremely easy to get around the city, and after the first day, we didn’t even need to use Google Maps

Small, not so crowded village on the Istrian coast.

Small, not so crowded village on the Istrian coast. The beach stretches the whole length of the village. It's located close to Pula (10 mins by car ) and Rovinj ( 25 mins by car ), and has direct access to highway. The ships to Brioni national Park leave from Fazana so that is also a bonus. The location is great for anyone who wants to enjoy Istrian villages without to many people. In the evening, when all the tourists from National park leave, the village really becomes peaceful and tranquil. We've came 4 times till now. Hoping to come again soon

The Kamenjak park is fantastic and although in august it was really full of people, we could find a nice place where to swim without too many people. We went around with the bike and in general we could follow paths where car were not allowed, otherwise it was a bit annoying because there were a lot of cars. We ate at the Safari bar, it was full of people but they are very well organized and the food is good and reasonable priced. Probably, the best would be to go in June or September when there are less people. It would be nice if car were not allowed or at least if there was a maximum number allowed.
